We are looking for a passionate, highly talented Ruby on Rails Developer with 4 - 5 years of experience to design and develop features for a startup trying to address unemployment problem of our country.
Technical Skills:
1. Rails 4.x.x knowledge required
2. Strong knowledge of ruby language
3. Must be good with JQuery, HTML and CSS
4. Must have worked with GIT version control system
5. Experience on troubleshooting UI related issues for multiple Browsers.
6. Mysql, SQL and LINUX/Ubuntu experience
7. Understanding about APIs and its usage in applications
8. Any exposure to gems like devise, cancan, SOLR/ElasticSearch is a plus.
Other skills required:
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality and automatization.
Good knowledge on Nginx, Apache, Passenger, Capistrano
Good understanding of Github or SVN
Willingness to try new technological innovation
Should be able to work independently
Should be comfortable with linux operating system
Startup mentality, high willingness to learn and hardworking.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience
