About Tummoc

'Commute' spelt backwards is ‘Tummoc’ (well, minus the "e").

That's what we're here for—To reverse the downward trend in the use of public transport in urban India!

Leading the smart commute revolution in India, Tummoc is a multimodal platform promoting public transport while making the most of private modes.

Indian cities are congested beyond comfort and the private-vehicle-driven commute habits lead to record pollution levels. The immediate solution is a mass transition to Public Transport.

Tummoc helps track and find actionable & accurate intra-city travel information for the bus/metro/suburban rail. You can purchase passes directly on the app in Bangalore at the moment, and soon we'll be launching online ticketing in other cities as well.

Plan your journey with the best possible public transport routes in seconds! Explore the fastest and cheapest bus, metro, or bus AND metro routes. This is a one-of-a-kind service backed by a PATENT! You can also track the cost of your journey and the carbon saved.

We also help you find the best first and last-mile rides to get you to and from public transit stations.

What #TeamTummoc is like

We’re a diverse group of individuals working towards a common goal: Building a Smart Transit for India. At Tummoc, we believe in a human-first approach, navigating away from the focus on roles and job titles. Irrespective of what your job title may say, we encourage you to explore different avenues and just keep learning and growing.

We look for passionate and focused individuals who love what they do and are always up for a challenge.

The team is filled with individuals who aim for the stars and don’t let setbacks push them down too hard. And if they fall, their teammates are right there beside them to pick them up.

The team is made up of people from all over the country, and from all walks of life. The beauty is that it’s these differences that make work interesting. There’s always something to learn from the people sitting around you.

Basically, we believe that life is all about balance. There will be ups and downs always, but as long as you keep doing what you’re doing to the best ability, nothing can come in the way of achieving everything you dream of.
