Our experienced engineers and consultants working around the world, providing integrated engineering solutions in Process Control, Electrical Control and Instrumentation, Design Systems Integration and Asset Management across the Marine, Oil & Gas,
We provide services right from sales, tendering/bidding, detailed engineering, specification, purchasing and complete programming (logic and graphics), hardware engineering, Factory acceptance test, installation and commissioning. We also provideafter-sales support, troubleshooting and periodic maintenance. NorVerden will produce all required engineering documentation and drawings (to ISA standards) to accompany the control system including P&ID drawings, logic drawings, wiring and cabling drawings, loop drawings, etc.
We have a pool of engineers to perform engineering consulting in all disciplines including structure, mechanical, process/chemical, electrical, piping(oil & gas), instrumentation, automation and telecommunication systems. Engineers shall execute in house tasks or shall sit in clients premises to extend their services.
We help clients to identify and purchase spare parts for a wide variety of industrial products with the help of suppliers around the globe.

C#Reporting to the Software Manager the successful candidate will be a key member of the software development team responsible for developing software using various technologies of the Microsoft stack. The software developer would be responsible for writing code to standards that is used in a varied key products of the company. Coordinating with the hardware engineers to ensure the software produces the desired results. Working in various projects involving various technologies with opportunity to improve and learn.
- Solid understanding of the development lifecycle focusing on the Microsoft stack.
- Create code that meets design specifications, follows standards, and is easy to maintain. When required, make suggestions for new designs.
- Work with various teams in the organization and deal directly with design engineers, to ensure appropriate project requirements are met.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a cooperative team environment and having a flexible attitude.
- Keen interest in learning new skills.
- Great team participation skills and being pro-active in seeking help.
Desired Candidate Profile
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years hands on development experience using the latest Microsoft technologies
- Solid understanding of .NET Framework
- Expertise in C#, .Net (up to .Net 6)
- Experience with writing Windows desktop applications using WPF and MVVM
- Ability to understand complex and large projects
- Ability to approach a problem with an open mind when finding a solution.
- Experience of working with an ORM preferably Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Strong SQL Server (data storage and retrieval) skills with ability to write complex stored procedures.
- Source control (SVN or Git)
Nice to have:
- Prior experience developing in an n-tiered environment
- Prior experience in using an MVVM framework like Prism
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile software development methodology.
- Understanding of PLC programming
- Experience of Linux and C/C++ (Embedded Systems) would be an advantage
- Experience of MS Visual Basic would be an advantage
