Job Description

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer with Digital Accessibility testing experience who will help drive and improve the quality assurance function and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance within Murf AI. The QA Engineer will be responsible for identifying failure points using various data models, and influencing automation. You would be the gatekeeper for launching any new features, ensuring our users have a glitch-free experience with Murf.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare test design templates and test plans and perform hands on testing, with a natural ability to deliver on short timelines
• Document test scripts and track issues in Murf AI Studio. 
• Work with Developers, product managers, and other functional team members to understand the requirements and determine required scope of testing
• Collaborate with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or other related fields
• 6 months to 3 years of experience working and testing software applications
• Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, CSS and JavaScript and browser behavior
• Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing and regression testing
• Experience working with trackers such as Redmine/Bugzilla/Jira etc.
• Ability to find the root cause of open production support tickets quickly
• Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as a subject matter expert
• Ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating the problem

Extra Awesome

• Understanding of development technologies (Java, JavaScript, REST API, ReactJs, CSS)
• Experience with test automation of web applications
• Able to identify and suggest potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1
• Experience working in an Agile development lifecycle

Responsibilities 

As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-centric designs that align with our brand identity and business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling visual experiences.

• Produce strong conceptual and expressive visual design that is engaging and reflects a cohesive visual style and tone.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
• Produce high-quality visual assets that enhance user experience and effectively communicate key messages.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience as a Visual Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and others.
• Familiarity with user interface design principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of branding and the ability to maintain visual consistency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
