Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications that meet our business needs. The ideal candidate is proficient in PHP and has experience working with modern frameworks, along with a strong understanding of web development best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Database Management: Design and manage databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Code Optimization: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, and optimize existing code for better performance.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs to enhance the functionality of web applications.
- Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and functionality of web applications.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest PHP trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance our products.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP: Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with Front-End Technologies: Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to writing high-quality code and maintaining coding standards.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CMS: Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Security Best Practices: Understanding of security principles and how to apply them in web development.
