About Nimuki
Nimuki is a premium Indian kidswear brand for children aged 3–7 years. We focus on stylish, comfortable, and high-quality clothing for modern families. We are launching in Kolkata and plan to expand across India.
At Nimuki, we are building a strong brand and community, not just selling products. We believe in doing things thoughtfully and maintaining high standards.
Why We Are Hiring
In our early stage, growth will come mainly through social media, influencer collaborations, and building trust with parents—not through paid advertising.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership, bring ideas, and work independently. If you enjoy building something from scratch and taking initiative, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
- Manage Nimuki's Instagram account end-to-end.
- Post content, Stories, Reels, captions, hashtags, and respond to DMs.
- Follow the content calendar created with Radhika.
- Reply to comments and messages on the same day.
- Track performance such as reach, shares, saves, and engagement.
- Suggest new content ideas and trends that fit the brand.
2. Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Find and connect with mommy bloggers and parent creators, mainly in Kolkata.
- Reach out, negotiate, and manage gifting and affiliate collaborations.
- Explain Nimuki's brand story and guidelines to creators.
- Track the performance of influencer campaigns.
- Build long-term relationships with top-performing creators.
3. WhatsApp Community Management
- Manage Nimuki's WhatsApp community for our founding families.
- Share new launches, exclusive previews, and engage with members.
- Ensure every interaction creates a positive brand experience.
- Coordinate with Sunjit on order updates and customer delight initiatives.
4. Offline Partnerships
Work with Sunjit to build relationships with:
- Premium preschools and daycares.
- Kids' play areas and family entertainment centres.
- Pediatric clinics and wellness centres.
- Art, music, sports, and swimming classes.
Your role will be to build partnerships, manage communication, and ensure everything is executed smoothly.
5. Reporting
- Share weekly updates on social media growth, influencer activities, WhatsApp community, and partnership progress.
- Provide monthly recommendations on what is working and what can be improved.
- Take ownership and proactively share updates without waiting to be asked.
What This Role Is Not
Before applying, please note:
- This is not a paid advertising role. Running Google or Meta ads is not the focus.
- This is not a content creation role. Radhika will lead the creative direction; you will manage execution and distribution.
- This is not a remote position. Being based in Kolkata is mandatory.
- This is not a role where daily tasks will be assigned. You are expected to manage your own work and priorities.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience working with a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brand.
- Good understanding of Instagram and how to build an engaged community.
- Hands-on experience with influencer outreach and collaborations.
- Comfortable managing WhatsApp communities and customer conversations.
- Based in Kolkata or ready to relocate immediately.
Preferred Skills
- Existing connections with mommy bloggers or parent influencers in Kolkata.
- Experience using affiliate tools like UpPromote, Cuelinks, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of the Indian D2C market and customer behaviour.
- Ability to read Instagram Insights and use data to make decisions.
- Experience with offline partnerships and brand collaborations.
We Would Love Someone Who
- Shares updates without being reminded.
- Brings solutions and ideas instead of only pointing out problems.
- Enjoys building and growing a brand from the ground up.
- Treats the brand with ownership and care.
- Pays attention to quality in every interaction, whether it's a DM, caption, or influencer communication.
If you are excited about building a growing kidswear brand and love creating meaningful connections with customers and communities, we'd love to hear from you.
