MAVA is building an AI product for physical commerce in the US. We’re looking for a hands-on marketer who can help us create consumer demand across individual US cities.
You will be Employee No. 3 and own marketing end to end. This role isn't for someone who only creates strategies or manages agencies. You will work directly with the founder and execute from day one.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and run city-level consumer and SMB campaigns in the US
- Identify, negotiate with, and manage creators and influencers
- Develop short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and other channels
- Run and optimize Meta advertising campaigns
- Create offers, rewards, referral programs and local activations
- Coordinate shoots, creatives, landing pages and campaign execution
- Experiment rapidly and identify repeatable growth channels
- Measure visits, engagement, leads and conversions—not vanity metrics
- Do the early-stage grunt work required to build marketing from zero
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of consumer, D2C or growth-marketing experience
- Hands-on experience running Meta ads
- Experience working with creators, influencers or UGC
- Strong understanding of short-form content
- Ability to generate ideas and personally execute them
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful and comfortable working without a playbook
- Willingness to work with the intensity and ownership of an early founding team
Experience with US consumers, local campaigns, retail, marketplaces or multi-city launches is an advantage.
This role is not primarily about SEO, blogs or corporate brand management. The immediate objective is to attract consumers, drive measurable action and discover what scales.
Location: Remote initially; Hyderabad later
Compensation: Fixed pay + performance incentives + ESOPs
