Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Developer cum Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and the ability to create visually stunning and highly functional websites that showcase our interior design portfolio and services. As well as for Paperloft Design Institute for running courses for Interior Design and Digital Marketing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain engaging WordPress websites that reflect the aesthetics and brand identity of Interiosplash and Paperloft Design Institute
· Customize WordPress themes and plugins to match project-specific requirements, ensuring seamless integration with design concepts.
· Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
· Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive company and client data.
· Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into technical solutions.
· Integrate multimedia content such as images, videos, and interactive features to highlight interior design projects.
· Conduct thorough website testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.
· Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic.
· Develop e-commerce functionalities for showcasing and selling interior decor products, if required.
· Stay updated on emerging web technologies and trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
· Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development.
· Familiarity with SEO principles and API integrations.
· Strong knowledge of UX/UI design tailored to the interior design industry.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design alignment purposes.

✅ Core Web Vitals compliance (LCP, FID, CLS)
✅ Clean Treemap breakdowns in PageSpeed (no heavy scripts or oversized files)
✅ Lazy loading, WebP image optimization, and zero layout shifts
✅ Mobile-first responsiveness across all devices
✅ Proper caching, GZIP compression & CDN setup (Cloudflare preferred)
✅ No render-blocking resources—async, deferred JS/CSS where needed
✅ Structured navigation and flawless UX flow
✅ Regular speed monitoring via GTmetrix, PSI, Pingdom
✅ Access and transparent reporting through GSC & GA
Preferred:
· Strong knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photo shop, Illustrator, In-design) for design and layout purposes.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
· A portfolio of previous WordPress projects, particularly in the interior design or related industries, is preferred.
