We are looking for a skilled SAP BW/4HANA Developer to design, develop, and maintain data warehousing solutions on SAP’s BW/4HANA platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization, along with a deep understanding of SAP HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models using BW/4HANA objects (InfoObjects, Advanced DSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views).
• Build and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and maintain data flows, transformations, and process chains.
• Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Work with SAP HANA Studio/Eclipse for development and modeling tasks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain BEx Queries / Analysis for Office / SAC reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data consistency issues.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations (ECC/SAP BW to BW/4HANA), and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience in SAP BW/BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.
• Strong experience in:
• BW/4HANA modeling concepts
• Data warehousing principles
• ETL processes and data integration
• Hands-on experience with:
• InfoProviders (ADSO, Composite Provider)
• Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains
• ABAP routines and debugging
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA database concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of SLT, SDA, SDI, or LVM is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other reporting tools is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BW/4HANA migration projects (e.g., Landscape Transformation, Shell, Remote).
• Knowledge in CDS Views and AMDP.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of data lake or cloud integrations (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS).
