India's Carbon Credit Trading Scheme has made emissions reporting a legal obligation for nine hard-to-abate sectors. ecotheta takes that entire burden off obligated plants — we build a traceable emissions ledger. The same verified data then produces BRSR, CBAM and ISSB reporting. We sell accountability for an outcome, not a dashboard.
What you'll do
Own a named account list of CCTS-obligated entities across [2–3 sectors]
Run discovery with energy managers, sustainability heads, plant EHS and CFOs; quantify their problem in their numbers
Map the decision path from champion to PO, and arm the champion to sell internally
Build scope and commercials with delivery; run an honest, evidence-based pipeline
Close alongside the founder as our first sales hire
What we need
4+ years B2B enterprise sales, ₹10L+ ACV, cycles of 4+ months
Subscription or annual-contract selling (renewal and expansion, not just first signature)
Regulated or industrial buyers — TIC, energy audit, industrial software, compliance SaaS, or Big-4 sustainability
You can name a deal you walked away from, and why
Genuine comfort on a plant floor, and real willingness to travel
Hindi + one of Gujarati / Marathi / Tamil is a plus
Domain knowledge of CCTS, PAT, ESCerts or BRSR is preferred, not required — we'll teach the scheme in six weeks. We can't teach listening or disqualification.
Not a fit if you want an inbound lead machine to work rather than one to build, or you reach for the demo before the problem.
Process: 30-min founder screen → 48-hour domain exercise → live discovery role-play → commercial + references. Closed within two weeks.
