Job Title: UI/UX Design Intern
Location: Remote
Duration: 30 to 60 Days
Stipend: Unpaid
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our design and product teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. You will gain hands-on experience throughout the entire design process, making this a great opportunity to enhance your portfolio and grow your skills in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications from scratch.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
- Help refine and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving user experience.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field (or self-taught with a strong portfolio).
- Basic knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating user-centered designs.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs.
- Bonus: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, prototyping tools (Framer, ProtoPie), or animation tools (After Effects, Lottie).
