Job Description - Responsible for entire P&L of a set of companies - Handle Supply Chain Management operations encompassing vendor selection, and rate finalisation, and logistics - Sourcing, procuring and vendors development - Strong communication skills - Strong analytical and negotiation skills. - A quick decision maker with strong people skills. Job Description 1. Look for innovative ways to generate leads 2. Participate in Industry Exhibitions and Trade Shows. 3. Identify and Build Partnerships which can help us generate Leads 4. Connect with the leads using cold calls, emails, and convert them into prospects 5. Build Effective Sales Pitch and Sales Collateral 6. Convert Prospects into Customers 7. Onboarding and Training 8. Always available for customer support and help. 9. Build a sales team and develop strategies for penetrating the market. This is an exciting opportunity as this will be our first Sales Hire. Skills Required: - The ideal candidate will be fluent in Ruby and proficient with Ruby on Rails - Extensive experience developing web applications in Object-Oriented Perl, Python can be substituted as long as there is a strong desire to work in Ruby - Experience in JavaScript and CSS is desirable as well as AJAX - A deep understanding of relational databases and PostgreSQL is a must - Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL is a big plus - Experience with Linux/Unix is a must - Technical leadership experience is preferred and passion to work for a startup to get things delivered. - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes - Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bower, Bundler, Rake etc Familiarity with continuous integration - Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience
