Who are we looking for?

A motivated and ambitious Full stack Shopify developer with strong focus on frontend, who would like to be a part of a high growth & funded startup’s growth journey. Ideally be a pet parent!


- CTC: 6 to 8 Lakhs (Onsite)

- Role Type - Full Time
- Saturdays off

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) To continuously optimize, enhance & maintain our Shopify based e-commerce website - http://www.goofytails.com">www.goofytails.com
2) Working closely with our UI/UX designer to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive and scalable front-end experiences

3) To alter pre – existing templates & themes

4) Manage/Create shopify Apps 

4) To deliver optimized, fast loading, and super responsive website

5) Superb troubleshooting and debugging skill

6) Extend Shopify functionalities using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc

7) Manage existing Shopify theme and also create new theme if needed
7) Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites Creating responsive website designs
8) Constantly look for better ways to do things by keeping up to date with the latest developments in the industry

Technical Capabilities Required? (Must Have Skills) 

For this position, you must have a minimum of  2 years of experience as a Shopify developer. But what is really essential is to have experience with complex implementations such as Ajax Cart, Product Quick View, Product Customizers, among others.

It is also necessary to understand advanced Shopify concepts such as alternation of layouts and templates, product attributes, cart properties, and a deep understanding of the limitations and possibilities of Shopify objects.

Ruby on Rails / Shopify Front End
Good Knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, and Javascript (including JQuery framework)
Good knowledge in AJAX
Good Knowledge of Apache / PHP / MySQL
Good Knowledge of Postgres SQL (not mandatory)

• Thorough expertise in developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices 
• Knowledge of speed optimization of Shopify stores
• Expertise in Shopify Liquid template language,Shopify Admin/Storefront

APIs,Meta-fields,RESTAPIs

• Working knowledge in Custom Shopify App development
• Good expertise in Shopify Developer Platform & Shopify Theme Development
• Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances & configurations
• Experience with code version/ branching tools like Git/SVN
• Usage of theme-kit or similar code push methodology experience
• knowledge of performance Improvement best practices
• Know how to write flawless and structured CSS
• Know how to layout HTML optimized for SEO and accessibility

Good to have skills 

• Knowledge in other ecommerce platforms like Magento, woo commerce, Big Commerce will be preferred
  Experience with React or Knockout.js is a plus
