What You'll Do: 

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in Pune, India who can master both DeepIntent's data architectures and pharma research and analytics methodologies to make significant contributions to how health media is analyzed by our clients. This role requires an Engineer who not only understands DBA functions but also how they impact research objectives and can work with researchers and data scientists to achieve impactful results. This role also requires to help customer facing teams in resolving reported issue related to Deepintent Platform.

This role will be in the Operations Organization and will require integration and partnership with the Engineering Organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is inquisitive who is not afraid to take on and learn from challenges and will constantly seek to improve the facets of the business they manage. The ideal candidate will also need to demonstrate the ability to collaborate and partner with others.

• Serve as the Engineering interface between customer facing team along with Analytics and Engineering teams
• Help customer facing teams such as Platform Support, Client Success, etc in resolving the reported Platform issues
• Develop and standardized all interface points for analysts to retrieve and analyze data with a focus on research methodologies and data based decisioning
• Build "mastered" versions of the data for Analytics specific querying use cases
• Help with ETL job monitoring and take corrective action on job failures.
• Interpret analytics methodology requirements and apply to data architecture to create standardized queries and operations for use by analytics teams
• Implement DataOps practices
• Master existing and new Data Pipelines and develop appropriate queries to meet analytics specific objectives
• Collaborate with various business stakeholders, software engineers, machine learning engineers, analysts
• Operate between Engineers and Analysts to unify both practices for analytics insight creation 

Who You Are:

• Must be proficient with Java and API
• Must have experience debugging Java code
• Adept in market research methodologies and using data to deliver representative insights
• Inquisitive, curious, understands how to query complicated data sets, move and combine data between databases
• Basic SQL experience.

What You’ll Do:

As a Data Scientist, you will work closely across DeepIntent Analytics teams located in New York City, India, and Bosnia. The role will support internal and external business partners in defining patient and provider audiences, and generating analyses and insights related to measurement of campaign outcomes, Rx, patient journey, and supporting evolution of DeepIntent product suite. Activities in this position include creating and scoring audiences, reading campaign results, analyzing medical claims, clinical, demographic and clickstream data, performing analysis and creating actionable insights, summarizing, and presenting results and recommended actions to internal stakeholders and external clients, as needed.

• Explore ways to to create better audiences 
• Analyze medical claims, clinical, demographic and clickstream data to produce and present actionable insights 
• Explore ways of using inference, statistical, machine learning techniques to improve the performance of existing algorithms and decision heuristics
• Design and deploy new iterations of production-level code
• Contribute posts to our upcoming technical blog  

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Economics, Finance, OR, or Data Science. Graduate degree is strongly preferred 
• 3+ years of working experience as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist in digital marketing, consumer advertisement, telecom, or other areas requiring customer level predictive analytics
• Background in either data engineering or analytics
• Hands on technical experience is required, proficiency in performing statistical analysis in Python, including relevant libraries, required
• You have an advanced understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, digital marketing and advertising data and campaigns or familiarity with the US healthcare patient and provider systems (e.g. medical claims, medications)
• Experience in programmatic, DSP related, marketing predictive analytics, audience segmentation or audience behaviour analysis or medical / healthcare experience
• You have varied and hands-on predictive machine learning experience (deep learning, boosting algorithms, inference) 
• Familiarity with data science tools such as, Xgboost, pytorch, Jupyter and strong LLM user experience (developer/API experience is a plus)
• You are interested in translating complex quantitative results into meaningful findings and interpretable deliverables, and communicating with less technical audiences orally and in writing

What you'll do:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for our microservices architecture.
• Utilize Git and Helm for version control and deployment management.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration.
• Manage and optimize AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS CDN.
• Maintain and optimize MySQL databases, Airflow, and Redis instances.
• Write automation scripts in Bash or Python for system administration tasks.
• Perform Linux administration tasks and troubleshoot system issues.
• Utilize Ansible and Terraform for configuration management and infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrate knowledge of networking and load-balancing principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications meet reliability and performance standards.

Additional Skills (Good to Know):

• Familiarity with ClickHouse and Druid for data storage and analytics.
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data center operations.

Who you are:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role or similar.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, Git, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, MySQL, Airflow, Redis, AWS CDN.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Understanding of networking principles and load balancing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
