iOS Developer

Job Description: We currently have an opportunity available for Jr. iOS App developers to work full time at our eCommerce product.

Preferably who have worked on an eCommerce platform and developed a minimum of 2 applications.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

- Strong knowledge of swift.

- iOS app architecture

- REST API Integration.

- Deployment process on App store.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Familiar with APN and Firebase Push notification.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•        Experience with native development (iOS/Android).
•        Worked on deep linking in mobile apps
•        Hands on experience in Bridging Native code base to react native.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user-friendly, robust, and scalable Flutter/Android/iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Implement clean and efficient code following best practices, coding standards, and design patterns specific to mobile development.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and stability of the applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to fetch and send data from/to the backend servers.
• Work with SQLite or other database technologies to implement data persistence in mobile applications.
• Implement effective UI/UX designs following Material Design guidelines to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement solutions to improve application performance, maintainability, and user engagement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development and share knowledge with the team.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users or clients, providing timely and effective solutions.

What will you do? (but not limited to)

• Design, develop, and maintain our mobile applications using either Flutter or React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the product and development teams to design and develop innovative features that align with our mission and user needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices, and conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the software to ensure optimal performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement.
• Drive architectural decisions and lead efforts to scale and improve our codebases.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Who can apply?

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mobile Application Developer with a proven track record in developing and deploying mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in React Native, with a deep understanding of cross-platform mobile development and app architecture.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (for React Native), and familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ, and other IDEs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think algorithmically and a keen eye for debugging and optimizing code.
• Experience with app development languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C and with utilizing RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Proficient understanding and utilizing code versioning tools, such as Bitbucket.
• Experience in a startup environment and building products from scratch is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on a balance of data, experience, and judgment.

Hello 

1. Build pixel-perfect UIs across Android and iOS mobile platforms.
2. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. 
3. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. 
4. Developing and releasing complex, data-driven apps using React Native as the primary application framework. 
5. Proficiency writing Modern JavaScript, including ES6+, and JSX.
6. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
7. Must be able to develop high-performance cross-platform apps using React-Native.

 Expert experience developing multiple commercial-grade mobile applications iOS using native languages (Objective-C / Swift, Xcode or Java).

- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for IOS or Android. Strong experience developing multithreaded applications.

- Solid knowledge of mobile OS architecture - in areas of: UI, memory management, data storage, application management by OS and cybersecurity.

- Experience with charting of data (scientific or medical data is preferred), either custom-developed or third-party charting libraries.

- Experience with UI development of mobile application (scalable for different screen resolutions and localization).

- Demonstrate initiative in all areas of work - proactive in identifying shortfalls in requirements, design or code.

- Experience working with continuous integration.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written). High-quality SDD/design and implementation documentation skills a must.

- Experience with unit-testing and test automation preferred.

- Must have apps published in either Apple/Google store.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or related field

- Evidence of continuing education, such as technical certifications, a plus

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Information Technology field

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in mobile application development

- Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment, a plus

- Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment
