Senior Mobile Engineer / Mobile Lead

We're looking for a senior engineer to own the technical foundations of our mobile applications: architecture, reliability, performance, release safety, and the engineering practices that allow the mobile team to scale.

What You'll Own?

• Define mobile architecture and technical direction across our applications.

• Own reliability, performance, crash/ANR reduction, observability, and release quality.

• Make pragmatic native-versus-cross-platform decisions based on product and engineering constraints.

• Design robust patterns for networking, offline operation, media capture, synchronization, background work, and local persistence.

• Establish testing, CI/CD, staged rollout, feature flag, and production monitoring practices.

• Lead technically complex mobile initiatives that span backend, infrastructure, product, and design.

• Review architecture and critical code while mentoring mobile engineers.

• Reduce long-term complexity through platform components, shared libraries, and clear engineering standards.

What We're Looking For?

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial production mobile ownership.

• Deep expertise in Android, iOS, or cross-platform mobile architecture, with strong understanding of native platform behavior.

• Experience designing and evolving large production mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, persistence, performance, security, and application lifecycle.

• Experience leading technical projects and influencing engineers without relying on hierarchy.

• Strong production debugging and incident-resolution skills.

• Ability to balance architectural quality with startup execution speed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with media-heavy, field-workforce, fintech, or enterprise mobile applications.

• Native and cross-platform experience.

• Mobile security, device integrity, secure storage, and privacy-sensitive applications.

• Experience building internal mobile platforms, SDKs, or reusable application infrastructure.

Software Engineer - Mobile (SDE 3)

Own mobile features from architecture to production.

We care about building products that work in production - not just in demos. Our mobile applications operate in the real world: variable networks, device fragmentation, media capture, background work, permissions, and workflows that cannot simply fail when connectivity does. We're looking for an engineer who can independently own substantial parts of that experience.

What You'll Own?

• Design and ship major mobile features end-to-end, from technical design through production rollout.

• Build reliable experiences around camera, audio, media upload, location, permissions, and device capabilities.

• Design for poor connectivity, retries, offline behavior, background execution, and interrupted workflows.

• Own API integration, local state, caching, persistence, and synchronization patterns.

• Improve app startup time, responsiveness, battery/network usage, crash rate, and overall reliability.

• Build observability into mobile features and debug issues across device, network, and backend boundaries.

• Contribute to mobile architecture, testing strategy, release engineering, and technical standards.

• Mentor junior engineers and interns through reviews and design discussions.

What We're Looking For?

• 5+ years building production mobile applications.

• Strong experience with Android/Kotlin, iOS/Swift, Flutter, React Native, or comparable mobile stacks.

• Deep understanding of mobile lifecycle, networking, concurrency, persistence, and performance.

• Experience shipping and supporting applications through production releases.

• Strong debugging skills using device logs, profiling, crash reporting, and network inspection.

• Good API design instincts and ability to reason about backend/mobile contracts.

• Ability to independently turn ambiguous product requirements into robust technical solutions.

Nice to Have

• Media capture or real-time audio/video experience.

• Offline-first or field-workforce applications.

• Mobile security, encryption, device integrity, or secure storage.

• Native module/bridge development in a cross-platform application.

• Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, staged rollouts, and release observability.

Mobile Engineering Intern

Build mobile software people actually use.

AbleCredit builds software for complex enterprise workflows where AI, APIs, business rules, human decisions, and real-world operations have to work together reliably. We care about building products that work in production - not just in demos. As a mobile engineering intern, you won't spend four months on a disposable internship project. You'll work with our engineers on real application features and learn how production mobile software behaves outside perfect Wi-Fi and simulator environments.

What You'll Build?

• Build and improve features in our production mobile applications.

• Work with camera, audio, permissions, storage, networking, and other device capabilities.

• Handle real-world mobile conditions such as slow networks, interrupted uploads, background execution, and app lifecycle changes.

• Integrate mobile experiences with backend APIs and services.

• Debug crashes and functional issues using logs, device tools, and observability.

• Write tests and participate in code reviews, releases, and technical discussions.

What We're Looking For?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong programming fundamentals and curiosity about how mobile systems work.

• Experience building at least one meaningful Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native application.

• Comfort with Git, APIs, JSON, and basic debugging.

• Ability to learn independently, ask good questions, and take feedback.

Bonus Points

• Kotlin, Swift, Flutter/Dart, React Native, or TypeScript experience.

• Published app, substantial side project, hackathon product, or open-source contribution.

• Experience with camera/audio APIs, local storage, background jobs, or offline-first applications.
