The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Zoho Developer to help us accelerate the development, customization, and optimization of our internal business systems.
This isn't a traditional Zoho Administrator role. We're looking for someone who can understand a business challenge, architect a solution, and independently bring it to life.
You'll play a key role in building scalable systems, automating complex workflows, and improving how our teams operate across Finance, Accounting, Talent Management, and Operations.
We're also looking for someone who embraces AI-assisted development, using modern tools to accelerate delivery, solve complex problems, and build smarter solutions without compromising quality or security.
This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement with a full-time scope of work, rather than a project-based freelance assignment. You'll work closely with our North American team and take ongoing ownership of technical development initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced solutions across the Zoho ecosystem, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Flow, and Deluge scripting.
- Independently architect and deliver complex technical solutions, from understanding business requirements through development, testing, and deployment.
- Build and maintain integrations between Zoho and external platforms using APIs, webhooks, and other integration technologies.
- Develop automations and workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Troubleshoot existing applications, identify root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies to accelerate development and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate operational challenges into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, well-documented, and built to support long-term business growth.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Zoho development.
- Advanced expertise across the Zoho ecosystem, particularly Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and workflow automation.
- Proven experience independently architecting, developing, and delivering complex Zoho solutions in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies in real development workflows.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including solution architecture, code quality, security, testing, and maintainability.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and take ownership of projects from beginning to end.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A proactive, resourceful mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a North American team, including some working-hour overlap with Montreal, Canada (Eastern Time).
While these experience benchmarks reflect the seniority we're targeting, demonstrated ability to independently architect and deliver sophisticated Zoho solutions matters more to us than years of experience alone.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience integrating Zoho with NetSuite, ERP systems, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience developing AI agents, AI-powered workflows, or advanced business automations.
- Experience building technical solutions for cross-functional business operations.
The Dulcedo Experience!
As an independent contractor collaborating with Dulcedo, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful technical initiatives within a growing North American organization.
Here's what you can expect:
- Fully remote collaboration: Work from your location while maintaining some overlap with Montreal business hours.
- Autonomy and ownership: Take responsibility for sophisticated technical challenges and see your solutions make a real impact.
- AI-forward development: Work in an environment that embraces modern AI development tools and encourages smarter, more efficient ways of building.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Talent Management, and Operations.
- Meaningful technical challenges: Help build and optimize the systems supporting a growing multidisciplinary talent management company.
Engagement Details
- Engagement type: Independent contractor.
- Workload: Full-time scope of work, with ongoing technical responsibilities rather than isolated freelance projects.
- Location: Fully remote, open to international candidates.
- Working hours: Some overlap with Montreal business hours (Eastern Time) is required.
- Duration: Proposed initial three-month engagement, with potential for extension based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit. Final terms are subject to confirmation.
Ready to Build With Us?
If you're a technically strong, resourceful developer who enjoys solving complex challenges, taking ownership, and using AI to build smarter solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
We're especially interested in learning about the complex Zoho solutions you've personally designed and delivered and how you've incorporated AI-assisted development into your work.
Apply now and help us build the next generation of Dulcedo's internal systems!

Software Development Engineer
What you'll do
Be the dedicated engineer for one of our clients. Learn their business, find what to automate, and build it.
Build automations, integrations, and web apps on whatever the client runs business platforms like the Zoho suite, cloud services like Azure, and custom apps where needed.
Work with APIs every day: connect systems, move data, make tools talk to each other.
Own work end to end: hear the problem from the stakeholder, build the solution, ship it, demo it, support it.
Resolve client tickets and bugs fast. Keep their systems and data healthy.
Write things down: clear docs, clear updates, clear commit history.
What we're looking for
2–5 years shipping software that works and being able to read it, debug it, and stand behind it.
Strong with REST APIs and integrations between systems.
Happy working inside business platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar). Much of the leverage in this role lives there, not in custom code.
You can sit in a call with a non-technical client, understand the real problem, and come back with a working solution.
Self-driven. You'll often be the only engineer on a problem.
Why you'll love this role
Full ownership from first call to delivery you run projects, not just a ticket queue.
Direct access to clients and leadership. Your decisions ship the same week.
Constant variety: new systems, new problems, new builds.
What you'll do
Own a client end to end. Learn their business, find what to automate or rebuild, and lead the work that ships it.
Turn business problems into technical solutions sit in the call, understand the real problem, design the fix, and decide how it gets built.
Stay hands-on. You'll still write code, build integrations, and work with APIs every day.
Build on whatever the client runs Zoho, Salesforce, Azure, similar platforms, and custom apps where needed.
Run delivery: scope it, sequence it, ship it, support it. The timeline is yours.
Review code and designs. Mentor the developers on your projects and unblock them fast.
Be the escalation point when something breaks or an integration misbehaves.
Own client communication on the technical side status, tradeoffs, bad news, early.
Keep the bar high: clear docs, clear updates, clear commit history.
What we're looking for
4–7 years shipping software, with real depth in REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience leading projects or small teams — the person others check with before they build.
Strong with business platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar). Much of the leverage lives there, not in custom code.
You can sit with a non-technical client, understand the problem, and come back with a working solution.
Still enjoy building. This is technical leadership, not coordination.
Self-driven. You'll often be the senior-most engineer on the account.
Why you'll love this role
Full ownership from first call to delivery — you run projects, not a ticket queue.
Direct access to clients and leadership. Your decisions ship the same week.
Constant variety: new systems, new problems, new builds.
A step into technical leadership without giving up the hands-on work.
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

About Nexa Consultancy
Nexa Consultancy Inc is a Surrey, British Columbia (Canada) based company that helps other businesses set up everything they need to run and grow: dashboards, CRM, automation, reporting and marketing. We run our own operations on GoHighLevel, n8n and Make.com and build the same systems for our clients. Because this is ongoing work for our clients, we are looking for long-term people who will grow with us, not short-term contractors. We are hiring a full-time, remote Automation Developer in India to own this stack end to end.
What you will do
- Build, maintain and document automations in n8n and Make.com (lead intake, follow-up sequences, appointment booking, WhatsApp and email notifications, reporting).
- Own our GoHighLevel setup: pipelines, workflows, custom fields, calendars, forms, funnels and integrations.
- Connect tools through REST APIs and webhooks (GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, Gmail, WhatsApp, Meta lead forms, Cloudflare Workers, AI APIs).
- Write small scripts and serverless functions (JavaScript or Python) where a no-code step is not enough.
- Monitor scenarios, fix failures fast, and keep an eye on run quotas and costs.
- Build dashboards and reports so the team can see leads, follow-ups and conversions without asking.
- Turn a plain-English request from the Director into a working, tested automation.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on automation or integration work, with real n8n and Make.com scenarios you can show.
- Solid GoHighLevel experience (workflows, pipelines, snapshots, API). Other CRMs are a plus.
- Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth and debugging failed runs.
- Working JavaScript or Python for custom code steps; SQL or Google Sheets formulas are a plus.
- Clear written English. You will document what you build and explain it to non-technical teammates.
- Self-directed. This is a remote role with a small team; you will own outcomes, not just tickets.
Nice to have
- Cloudflare Workers, Zapier, Airtable, Notion, WhatsApp Business API, Meta or Google Ads integrations, OpenAI or Claude APIs.
Work setup
- Full-time, remote, from India.
- Long-term role. We want someone who stays, learns our clients' businesses and grows with the team.
- Must overlap with Canadian Pacific Time business hours for part of each day; exact schedule agreed at offer.
- Your own laptop, reliable high-speed internet and a smartphone are required.
Compensation
- INR 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 per month, which is INR 12,00,000 to 18,00,000 per year, based on experience. We are hiring for 4 positions.
How we hire
- Short screening call, then a practical exercise (build a small n8n or Make.com scenario), then a final interview with the Director.
