About the Role :

PluginHive is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise to build and scale high-volume SaaS applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Node.js, React.js, and AWS, with a backend-heavy profile and the ability to independently own applications from development to production.

We are specifically looking for engineers who :

• Have a backend-heavy Full Stack profile (not frontend-heavy).
• Have independently owned production applications.
• Have hands-on AWS architecture and infrastructure experience.
• Can manage deployments, production issues, database changes, and application scaling.
• Are capable of leading technical decisions and solving complex engineering problems.
• Have worked without relying entirely on a separate DevOps or Cloud team.

Note : Candidates who have only basic AWS knowledge or rely on a separate DevOps team for deployments and infrastructure management will not be considered.

• Proven software development experience in PHP

• Understanding of open source projects like Laravel, Drupal, Mysqletc

• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc

• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services

• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Minimum of 4 years of professional Python development experience.

·       Strong expertise in Django framework and its ecosystem.

·       Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.

·       Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

·       Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

·       Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

Experience: 5 to 6 years

Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering.

2+ years experience in front end development using React or another JS or TS based language such as VueJS, Angular 8years.

2+ years experience in modern web design.

2+ years experience in full stack development using Python or PHP based backends.

1+ years experience microservices development.

1+ years experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway or similar.

Understanding of OAuth or OIDC authentication flows Understanding of the OWASP Top 10 secure coding recommendations.

Regarding the job role: 

The Senior Developer is responsible for running the day to day operations of a group of developer/s. The individual should exhibit proven experience on our technology stack and product. Our technology stack is primarily written in React, Node + Express with Apollo, GraphQL, Typescript and MySQL on AWS Cloud Services.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute at a senior level to the development process.
• Own the product development lifecycle with the team.
• Work closely with the subordinates both at the technical as well as troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Manage developer allocations on tasks to best utilise time and resources.
• Work with Product Managers and the team to ensure that commitments are met.

Qualification:

BE/ME in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject, MCA, MSc(IT) or equivalent degree.

Required Skills:

• 4-6 years of proven software development experience with React, Node/Express, CSS/Bootstrap, HTML5 and MySQL or any RDBMS Server.
• Experience in TypeScript, GraphQL, TypeORM, styled components.
• Familiarity with Webpack and bundling the web applications for server deployment.
• Experience using AWS Toolchain or any other public cloud providers.
• Familiarity with shell scripting to automate deployment processes. 
• Ability to write robust, maintainable applications.
• Ability to build and work with distributed, high-volume backend services.
• Have a great understanding of system design, data structures, object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
• You should have experience in identifying, debugging and resolving complex production issues.

• Experience in handling integration with multiple legacy systems by creating/consuming services in SOAP/REST/MQ, Apache Camel integration framework.
• Strong experience in developing web applications using single-page architecture and a responsive design using Angular, Bootstrap, and building hybrid mobile applications
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Containerizing applications using Docker/Kubernetes
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube is a plus
