Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Django and Python.

Required Skills & Expertise

As a Python Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling data pipelines, developing prompts for large language models (LLMs), and deploying them as efficient, scalable APIs. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of data solutions and LLM functionalities. Job description

As a senior software engineer, you will work on our python based ORM and applications that scales to handle millions of transactions every hour. This is mission critical software and your primary focus will be building robust and scalable solutions that are easy to maintain.

In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the rest of the team working on different layers of infrastructure in an international environment. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product are important.

What You’ll Do:

• Own definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST and GraphQL). We take pride in our 100% open API with over 600 endpoints.
• Implement simple solutions to complex business logic that enables our merchants to manage financials, orders and shipments across millions of transactions.
• Build reusable components and packages for future use.
• Translate specs and user stories into reviewable, test covered patches.
• Peer review code and refactor existing code.
• Integrate with our eCommerce partners (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon), shipping partners (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL) and EDI.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker based global deployment of our infrastructure.

Requirements

This position is for a technology leader in Affiliate Marketing Technology group for attribution team. This team owns business critical systems that are responsible for attributing traffic to marketing channels and thrives on innovation to provide rich analytics to its internal and external customers. As a leader on the team, you will be responsible for tier1 critical systems, guide your team through the design, development, testing, and deployment of a range of products involving big data processing and dealing with near real time SLAs. Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to think critically and actively contribute to strategic choices.
• 3+ years experience in managing development teams working on multiple simultaneous projects.
• 3+ years experience in managing large scale software development teams following Agile development processes. 
• Strong skills in project planning & execution, problem solving. Ability to take a project from initial scoping requirements through actual launch and support of the project
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Deep, hands-on technical expertise in high scale, service-oriented architectures
• Exposure to Elastic Map Reduce and Machine Learning programs.
