Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in ad tech (preferred) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java and possess problem-solving skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions in the ad tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal software performance.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Java and software development.
• At least 1 year of experience in ad tech (preferred).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and data structures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead simultaneous development for multiple business verticals.
• Design & develop highly scalable, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Ensure that exceptional standards are maintained in all aspects of engineering.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to learn and share best practices.
• Take ownership of technical performance metrics and strive actively to improve them.
• Mentors junior members of the team and contributes to code reviews.

Requirements:

• A passion to solve tough engineering/data challenges.
• Be well versed with cloud computing platforms AWS/GCP
• Experience with SQL technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience working with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
• Excellent Programming skills in Python/Java/GoLang
• Big Data streaming services (Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Distributed cache systems(Redis, Memcache)
• Advanced data solutions(BigQuery, RedShift, DynamoDB, Cassandra)
• Automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure orchestration(Docker/Kubernetes/Nginx)
• Cloud-native tech like Lambda, ASG, CDN, ELB, SNS/SQS, S3 Route53 SES

• Ability to work in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team
• Experience in building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as Nest.js & Express.js using an API-first paradigm
• Intimate knowledge of crafting highly performant database queries
• Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.
• A mindset towards building systems for the cloud and DevOps fundamentals
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services is good to have. If not then willingness to learn should be there.
• Focus towards building security, performance, and scalability into services from the beginning
• Experience with debugging code and troubleshooting technical issues in order to craft appropriate solutions

You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications

Responsibility

• Write automated test cases to test code.
• Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal
• Experience with multiple mobile platforms is a plus.
• A passion and will to accept any new technical challenge that may come across.
• Linux scripting and SSH terminal
• Conceptual, Working knowledge of - DBMS, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Ability to write clean and documented code.

• A team player can provide technical expertise for a small team of developers.
• Strong hands-on and experience in core Java - Java/J2EE
• Design and implement new features, create UI, debugging, and data modeling.
• To update and sync with other team members daily.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, at all levels to various technical and non-technical audiences
• Testing all applications against software and hardware versions. Provide timely turnaround and documentation of things implemented.

Additional preferred skills * JSP/Servlets OR JQuery/HTML5 AND JavaScript

Requirements:-

• Working knowledge of - MySQL.
• Working experience on Struts/Spring.
• Experience with web services standards and related technologies - SOAP/Rest, AJAX, JSON, and XML.
