Position Overview As the Lead Software Engineer in our Research & Innovation team, you’ll play a strategic role in establishing and driving the technical vision for industrial AI solutions. Working closely with the Lead AI Engineer, you will form a leadership tandem to define the roadmap for the team, cultivate an innovative culture, and ensure that projects are strategically aligned with the organization’s goals. Your leadership will be crucial in developing, mentoring, and empowering the team as we expand, helping create an environment where innovative ideas can translate seamlessly from research to industry-ready products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical strategy for embedding AI into industrial automation products, with a focus on scalability, quality, and industry compliance.

• Lead the development of a collaborative, high-performing engineering team, mentoring junior engineers, automation experts, and researchers. • Establish and oversee processes and standards for agile and DevOps practices, ensuring project alignment with strategic goals.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals, define priorities, and manage timelines, while driving innovative, research-based solutions.

• Act as a key decision-maker on technical issues, architecture, and system design, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability of solutions.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, certifications, and compliance, and advocate for industry best practices within the team.

• Stay updated on software engineering trends and AI applications in embedded systems, incorporating the latest advancements into the team’s strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Extensive experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading technical teams, ideally in manufacturing or embedded systems.

• Strong expertise in Python and C++/Rust, Gitlab toolchains, and system architecture for embedded applications

Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies, with an emphasis on setting and maintaining high standards across a team.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in English.

• Willingness to travel as needed. 

Preferred:

• Background in driving team culture, agile project management, and experience embedding AI in industrial products.

• Familiarity with sociocratic or consent-based management practices.

• Knowledge in embedded programming is an advantage.

Role: Embedded Software Developer

Description:

1. Must be B.E./B.Tech./MTech. in Computer Science, IT or related software engineering degree.
2. Must have 3 to 7 years’ experience with strong experience of C system programming in embedded environment.
3. Must have relevant experience of IMS or Telephony domain.
4. Must have excellent S/W design Skills with proven experience of writing efficient code for embedded environment. 
5. Must have experience of Linux or RTOS S/W design programming.
6. Must have excellent debugging skills, good experience on analyzing network protocol Logs.
7. Must be conversant with embedded development tools, debuggers, Network protocol analyzers like Wireshark etc.
8. Must have hands-on experience & understanding of S/W Management Processes: Source Code Management, Unit/Integration Testing, Branch management, Feature Configuration etc.
9. Preferred to have experience on 4G/5G wireless protocol stack or WLAN SW development.
10. Preferred to have worked on Android based Smart Phone or embedded M2M/IOT projects .
11. Preferred to be from leading telecommunication, semiconductor or electronics ODM/OEM company background.

Responsibilities :

1. RTOS based multithreaded software development

2. Building future ready, scalable software architectures

3. Liasing with hardware team to decide project requirements

4. Realtime IoT functionality development on ESP32 platform

5. Integration of third party services for cloud based communications and computation

6. Maintaining and documenting software via git (GitLab)

7. Coordinating releases, setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines

8. Managing AWS based backend services, integration with AWS services such as S3,

Sagemaker

9. Firmware security, Flash encryption, Bootloader encryption, secure communications

10. Deep integration with hardware team - stress testing hardware

11. Development of device drivers

12. Software testing and maintenance

Recommended experience :

1. Good command over Linux

2. Familiarity with real time tasks and timing sensitive system design

3. Familiarity with BLE/Wifi/etc IoT communication protocols

4. Familiarity with major third party platforms for cloud and ML/AI integration

5. Testing actual physical outcomes of programmed solutions

6. Deep familiarity with ESP-IDF

Skills Required:

• Become a member of the team responsible for IoT hub software development. IoT hub provides IoT functionality (smart home, smart appliance,…) to mobile and web clients and runs on Linux-based host like smart home hub, broadband router, STB, etc.
• Implementation and/or extension of leading wireless/wired protocols (ZigBee, Bluetooth, IP-based,..) for communication with smart devices
• Development of new features for control and monitoring of smart devices and automation of IoT system
• IoT hub software porting on various hosts
• Software optimizations

Position:             C++ Developer

Location:            Hyderabad

Requirements:

• Strong C++ skills obtained in multiple years of C++ programming experience (at least 3 years)
• Good understanding of embedded system development based on Linux OS
• Knowledge of advanced programming concepts (e.g. Multi-Threading, OS internals, Networking, IPC mechanisms)
• Solid understanding of computer networking (TCP/UDP/MQTT/SSL)
• Solid understanding of Git source code management system
• Troubleshooting skills
• B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in computer science/ECE/EEE
• Fluent English

• Extensive knowledge of linux kernel internals.
• Good knowledge of C programming language.
• Familiarity with any processor architecture, virtualization, storage and network management.
• Strong experience in debugging linux kernel mode
• Debugging experience across hardware and platform firmware.
