About the Role  

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Application Software Development MBD Engineer with strong expertise in Motor Control Unit (MCU) software development and Model-Based Design (MBD). The candidate will be responsible for developing, simulating, and implementing motor control algorithms for automotive applications using MATLAB/Simulink-based development methodologies.

  Key Responsibilities  

• Develop application software using MATLAB Model-Based Development tools including MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder
• Design, develop, and validate motor control algorithms for:  Induction Motors,  Permanent Magnet Motors (SPM/IPM)
• Implement motor control techniques including:  Field Oriented Control (FOC),  Sensorless Control Strategies,  V/f Control Schemes
• Implement and optimize PWM techniques such as SPWM and SVPWM
• Develop and integrate application software for Micro Control Units using:  Infineon TriCore  processors,  Texas Instruments DSPs
• Work with development environments and tools including Eclipse-based tools, TASKING, and Code Composer Studio
• Support software debugging, simulation, testing, and validation activities for automotive embedded systems

Required Skills  

• Strong experience in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder / Code Generation tools
• Experience in motor control and automotive embedded systems
• Good understanding of electric motor control systems and power electronics
• Experience with embedded C programming and real-time systems
• Hands-on experience with development tools such as Eclipse-based tools, TASKING, and Code Composer Studio
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of automotive software development processes is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities : 

Design and Development : Develop robust and scalable robotic applications 

using ROS2. Implement software for various robotic systems, ensuring high 

performance and reliability. 

Hand-on with developing ROS2 nodes, Services/Clients, Publishers/Subscriber. 

Lead and develop path/motion planning algorithms that include route planning, 

trajectory optimization, decision making, and open space planning. Good 

understandings of Robot dynamics, kinematics and modeling. 

System Integration : Integrate sensors, actuators, and other hardware 

components with robotic systems. Ensure seamless communication between 

hardware and software layers. Experienced on integration with perception 

sensors such as IMU, GPS, Stereo Cameras, Lidar, Radar, and various other 

sensors. 

URDF Modeling : Create and maintain accurate URDF models for robotic 

systems. Ensure models accurately represent the physical configuration and 

kinematics of the robots. 

Algorithm Implementation : Implement and optimize algorithms for perception, 

localization, mapping, navigation, and control. 

1. Working Experience in

·        C and/or C++ programming

o   Should have Project working experience in C or C++

o   Should have done feature enhancement and/or Bug fixing using C/C++.

·        System Programming knowledge in

o   Muti-threaded programming, Process contexts/forks/execs and system calls

o   IPCs (like Socket programming, Message Queues, semaphores)

o   Linux Operating system

o   File access calls, like file descriptor handled operations.

·        Enterprise Security domain and SaaS

o   IPSec, SSL VPN tunnelling

JD For Embedded C Engineer requirements :

Mandatory Skillsets are as below :

1. Embedded SW development background

2. Embedded C/C++/

3. Hands-on experience in RTOS Programming.

4. Working knowledge of SDLC and methodologies/tools for requirement management.

5. Experience working in an agile development environment.

The principal embedded systems engineer will have deep expertise in embedded systems design, development and worked for years on embedded systems teams. This person is a leader and mentor to junior engineers and shares knowledge about the design and development of embedded systems.

• Serves as an expert in all aspects of embedded projects and embedded systems—including designing, developing, testing, and perfecting designs

Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelors' degree in computer science or engineering
• At least ten years of engineering experience with expertise in software engineering, data structures, and programming techniques
• Deep expertise in C/C++ programming
• Experience with FPGAs, PCB, Xilinx, Altera, or similar SoCs.
• Experience with ISPs, Cameras, Switches a plus.
• Experience in working with real-time operating systems, communications protocols and firmware design.

• Experience in interfaces, IP protocols, and hardware subsystems.
• Experience in working as part of a team and leading teams.

Job Description

Embedded Software/Firmware Design and Development on OS/Non-OS based platform

Desired Skills, Knowledge& Experience

B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA with 8-10 years of industry experience

Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python development in Linux

Experience in device or sensor communication interfaces (wired/wireless, short range/long range).

Experience of microcontroller and microprocessor.

Knowledge of IoT gateway firmware development, container, and OS hardening.

Experience in device communication protocol, Edge computing and processing

Competent in application development for Image processing, transmission, and storage

Good understanding and of programming primitives, data structures, multi-threading and memory management techniques

Strong command over complex sensor and hardware control logic to work seamlessly with edge devices or gateway
