We are looking for a Technical Architect to join our Team in Bangalore. This is hands-on position. Your focus will be as a ‘force-multiplier’, coaching, mentoring and acting as an escalation point for the Engineers within your area.

This is a role with a lot of variety, ranging from designing architecture, pair programming, helping Engineers debug an issue to working with Product Managers on how to achieve a product requirement.

You will work closely with other Lead Engineers and the Engineering Director to set out the roadmaps across our products to align with the architectural and technology vision. We expect you to be opinionated and bring your passion to helping us continually innovate.

You will work closely with and interact with stakeholders inside and outside of IT, contributing directly to how the wider IT team works together and makes the best use of technology.

We use: Angular/React/NextJS, TypeScript for our Front End Technologies

We use: .NET Core, Microservices, REST, SQL/Cosmos DB for our Back End Technologies

Cloud: Extensive exposure to cloud-based development, preferably Azure
Experience: 10+ years of experience in a similar senior position

• Engage in Node.js back-end development with MongoDB

1. Create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize and plan testing activities to meet project deadlines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

   Requirements

1. BTech and/or MTech in Engineering or related fields
2. 2+ years of experience using or creating shared test framework
3. Ability to create and maintain functional tests within fast-moving Agile delivery
4. Experience using test case management system like TestRail, Test Complete or Test Lodge
5. Experience using JIRA and, Atlassian suite
6. Excellent communication and documentation skills
7. Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration
8. Proficiency in analyzing requirements, functional specs, and technical specs
9. Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and innovative ideas
10. Strong quality mindset, great team spirit and being detail oriented

Tech Stack:

Golang, Microservices (AWS ECS, App Mesh), Ruby, Rails, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, NATS.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails OR 2+ years of experience with Golang.

- 5+ years of experience with MySQL or Postgres and relational data modelling.

- Experience consuming and writing REST APIs.

- Focus on writing clear, maintainable, tested code.

- Experience with Git, continuous integration and regular deployments.

- Experience with complex Rails projects and design principles.

- Strong willingness to learn and use Golang at work.

- Experience with CI (continuous integration).

- Strong understanding of Linux.

- Strong understanding of Docker.

- You must be a strong communicator who can explain complex ideas to anyone regardless of background.

Preferred Skills:

- 2+ years of experience with Golang.

- Experience with Microservices deployed in Kubernetes.

- Experience with AWS ECS, App Mesh and Lambda.

- Ability and interest in mentoring junior engineers a plus.

- Excellent written communication skills and diligent ability to contribute to the team by performing code reviews.
