Python Backend Developer

Location: Bhavnagar (On-site)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Web Developer with experience in Laravel and PHP to join our on-site team in Bhavnagar. The candidate should have basic knowledge of backend development, databases, and web technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel
• Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code
• Work with MySQL and handle database operations
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• Collaborate with the team to implement new features

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Web Developer (Laravel)
• Good knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP
• Familiar with Git/version control
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have a minimum 4+ years of experience in backend software development.

Mandatory (Experience 2) -Must have 4+ years of experience in backend development using Python (Highly preferred), Java, or Node.js.

Mandatory (Experience 3) - Must have experience with Cloud platforms like AWS (highly preferred), gcp or azure

Mandatory (Experience 4) - Must have Experience in any databases - MySQL / PostgreSQL / Postgres / Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 / SQL / MongoDB / Ne

Candidate must have 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with 1–2 years leading engineers or owning major systems.

Candidate must be from a product-based organization with a startup mindset.

Must be strong in one core backend language: Node.js, Go, Java, or Python.

Deep understanding of distributed systems, caching, high availability, and microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong command over system design, data structures, performance tuning, and scalable architecture

Ability to partner with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and lead end-to-end backend roadmap execution.

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 3+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages:Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl;

OR 

• MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field 2+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl.

ALSO 

• Minimum 3 years of experience building applications using at least one of the following: web application technologies including: HTML, CSS, or Javascript; OR Databases, for example: Mysql, Mongo, ora similar program; OR a collection of systems connected and communicating via a network connection
• Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring more junior Engineers
• Significant experience with large scale, high-performance systems
