
About the Role
We are looking for a NOC Technical Escalation Lead to serve as the final technical escalation point for the NOC team across Campus and Security technologies. This role owns critical issue resolution, mentors the L2 team, and acts as the primary technical liaison during high severity customer and internal escalations—including driving calls with vendor TAC and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the final technical escalation point for the NOC team on Campus technologies.
- Own and delegate escalations to the L2 team, driving issues through to resolution.
- Plan and execute technical upskilling initiatives for the NOC team.
- Handle and resolve escalations from both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and drive technical calls with vendor TAC (Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet) and other external teams during critical incidents.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across core networking and security domains, staying current with new technologies and vendor solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Wired and Wireless networking, Firewalls, NAC, and SDWAN.
- Working knowledge of vendor platforms: Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet.
- Proven experience handling L2/L3 escalations in a NOC or network operations/support environment.
- Experience working directly with vendor TAC teams to resolve complex issues.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to manage high pressure escalations.
- Ability to mentor and upskill junior engineers (L1/L2).
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving vendor stacks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional-level certifications (CCNP, ACP, any firewall certifications e.g. NSE4 or above, Palo Alto).

Qualifications
Master’s/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, and two years of experience
in software/systems or related.
5+ years overall experience.
Work experience must have included:
Proven track record in deploying, configuring and maintaining Ubuntu server
systems on premise and in the cloud.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting
TCP/IP networks, VPN, Load Balancers & Firewalls.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in public clouds like AWS & Azure.
Hands on experience in any of the configuration management tools like Anisble,
Chef & Puppet.
Strong in performing production operation activities.
Experience with Container & Container Orchestrator tools like Kubernetes, Docker
Swarm is plus.
Good at source code management tools like Bitbucket, GIT.
Configuring and utilizing monitoring and alerting tools.
Scripting to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
Hands on work to secure networks and systems.
Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
Ability to manage and deliver multiple project phases at the same time
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
