Job Summary

Jio Reality Labs is looking for a skilled Android Engineer to build high-performance, scalable mobile

applications for AI-driven, real-time, and immersive platforms used by millions of users. This role

focuses on creating intuitive, responsive, and visually rich Android experiences for AI/ML

dashboards, real-time analytics, and AR/VR-enabled applications.

Responsibilities

1. Mobile Application Development

 Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using modern

development frameworks and tools.

 Develop intuitive user interfaces for AI/ML workflows, real-time analytics dashboards, and

enterprise tools.

 Translate product requirements and UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

2. Real-Time & Data-Driven Interfaces

 Implement real-time UI updates for streaming data, live metrics, and system monitoring

dashboards.

 Work with APIs and WebSockets to render low-latency, data-intensive views.

 Ensure smooth user experience under high-traffic and high-data-volume scenarios.

3. UI/UX & Performance Optimization

 Optimize mobile application performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.

 Ensure compatibility across Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.

 Collaborate closely with designers to deliver polished, immersive user experiences.

4. Platform & Architecture

 Design mobile architecture that supports modularity, scalability, and long-term

maintainability.

 Implement state management, reusable components, and modular libraries to support

complex applications.

 Contribute to mobile development standards, best practices, and reusable design systems.

5. Collaboration & Delivery

 Work closely with backend, AI/ML, data engineering, and platform teams to integrate APIs

and workflows.

 Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

 Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin or Java.

 Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android

architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI).

 Solid understanding of mobile UI principles, layouts, and responsive design.

 Experience consuming REST APIs and working with real-time data (WebSockets, streaming).

 Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and debugging tools.

Preferred Skills

 Experience building dashboards or data-intensive mobile applications.

 Familiarity with data visualization libraries or charting frameworks.

 Exposure to AR/VR, 3D, or graphics-intensive interfaces (ARCore, OpenGL, Unity

integrations).

 Experience with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards.

 Understanding of cloud-based deployments and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements:-

· Solid understanding of Flutter, Dart, Flutter UI, and animations.

· Should have experience working with native technologies like Android.

· Knowledge and understanding of Firebase

· Experienced in working with remote data via REST and JSON

· Strong understanding of design patterns over and above MVP, MVVM, and MVC

· Experience with Agile development, scrum.

• Work on Examarly’s most complex web applications by designing, implementing, and unit testing the frontend application code.
• Work on UI frameworks and abstractions that help define a reliable, reusable and performant web platform.
• Build a next-gen UI using the latest technologies: React Native, Redux, Sass
• Help teams with defining an architecture that would scale and also encourage best practices.
• Goto person to get clarity of problem statements and also can break down into meaningful tasks.
• Influence and impact a best-in-class customer experience in your group and contribute to overall customer experience in your area.
• Work with stakeholders in defining, planning, estimating and ultimately delivering features that deliver meaningful results and business impact.

• Experience with modern UX technologies such as React Native,  and nodeJS.
• Good understanding of functional programming using JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful services
• Excellent software design and coding skills and understanding of OO concepts.
• Experience with building web experiences and knowing the web technologies
• Ability to debug and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• Experience in working with designers and design tools such as Figma

Passion for all things Mobile and have built complex Mobile Applications with React Native for at least 2 years. Have shipped apps on either the iOS App Store or Android Play Store, and are intimately familiar with their workflows. Comfortable with jest for writing unit and integration tests / appium for end-end testing. Intuition for usability and UI design, with an ability to balance polish with the constraints of timing and scope. Curiosity to remain updated with the newest technologies and frameworks. Comfort with any of WebRTC/Backend Stack/React JS is a strong plus. Most importantly, love coding!
