Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (P3)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong backend development experience in Java and Spring Boot. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable microservices and REST APIs while working in a collaborative agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java & Spring Boot
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Work on microservices architecture
• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
• Handle database operations using JPA/Hibernate
• Collaborate with frontend teams (Angular)
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and debugging

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java & Spring Boot
• Experience with Microservices
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Kafka
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
• Basic exposure to Angular
• Understanding of AI tools / Prompt Engineering (nice to have)

What you'll bring to the team?

• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good experience in System & Solution design.
• Working knowledge of Java, Web Services, SOAP, REST and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with coding assistants like co-pilot, Claude desktop etc.
• Knowledge of GIT version control
• Good knowledge of any database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Knowledge of Unit testing is a must
• Fair debugging skills

Java Developer JD:

• Strong hands-on code development experience in JAVA 14+, Restful Service, Spring Boot, JDBC Template.
• Experience in SQL scripting
• Experienced in developing and deploying web applications using Spring MVC and Spring boot.
• Hands on experience in one of the IDE’s – Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Experience with Tools- Maven, Jenkins
• Experience in entire software development life cycle from analysis, coding, testing, debugging and publishing using GIT
• AWS Services will be an added advantage
• Experience Kafka, K8s and Containerswill be an added advantage

Excellent communication, interpersonal & analytical skills with proven abilities in resolving the complex software issues.
