Roles and responsibility: Processes disputed transactions received from payment partners, per established procedures, to avoid unwarranted losses. With little supervision and direction, analyzes disputed transactions to determine the appropriate response and backup documentation requirements to defend disputes. Manages numerous deadline specific dispute requirements and meets strict requirements to ensure minimal loss to Happay and our clients. The position will require the reviewing of complex/unique situations regarding refunds, chargeback and fraud patterns in order to take actions about these issues. Recommend product, process, and tooling improvements. Time distribution: 60% hands-on refund and chargeback processing 20% in building and sustaining relationships with acquirers 10% in daily reconciliation using Visa and MasterCard reports and files 5% in preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports 5% in improving the product by giving meaningful input to the product team Candidate Profile: Must have skill sets: 2+ years Demonstrated proficiency in customer service, fraud investigation, fraud prevention and chargebacks Experience in financial services and/or risk management, is a must Solid experience and knowledge of the intricacies of bank card processing including a comprehensive understanding of various types of issuer billing, refunds and the analysis of card transactions.
