Brief Summary of Responsibilities: Assists the IT Development Manager in executing the global Oracle EBS development Strategy in line with the company’s goals and objectives and in line with the VP of Global IT’s direction. Assists the IT Development Manager in creating and maintaining a consistent technical architecture along with standards, policies, procedures, measures and organizational enhancements. Assists the IT Development Manager in selecting the correct technologies for solving problems. Work together with the Product Owner to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines Delivers the outcome of new or revised Custom Applications or EBS enhancements on time and budget while delivering critical functionality. Responsible for parts of the lifecycle of Custom Applications and EBS Enhancements including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Ensures that Custom Applications and EBS enhancements meet the required service support levels. Facilitates the definition and recommends the prioritization of enhancements and requests to meet the business goals and effective technology usage. Mentors, trains and leads a highly-energized and efficient team of developers in the Bangalore office. Ensures a high quality of work output. Acts as a mentor to the development group. Works with Internal Audit and supports SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications. Some international travel required to strategize with global business partners. Qualifications / Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent work experience. 10+ years building custom applications and/or EBS enhancements. Strong SQL/PLSQL knowledge. Strong expertise in SQL/PL SQL/Forms/Reports/XML Publisher/OAF. Knowledge in ADF/SOA is preferred. Integration knowledge of Oracle EBS with other systems is desirable. Basic functional knowledge of Procure to Pay and Order to Cash cycles. Experience in implementation and support of international manufacturing operations. Hands-on coding with the ability to get in the details when required. Strong team player, partnering with senior/executive management and individual contributors. Excellent presentation/communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
