Full Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

We are hiring for the position of Technical Lead - Full Stack for one of our premium clients.

Skills: React JS, Node JS, Python, Golang, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript.

Location : Chennai

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive.

- 10-14 years of hands-on experience working on Web Full Stack technologies, with at least 4-6 years of experience developing applications with/on React/NextJS, NoSQL, and REST APIs.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6), NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, CSS Preprocessors, Web-pack, Gulp.

- Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks - jQUery, ReactJS, Redux, Babel, JSX.

- Experience in designing high-performance REST APIs and associated data structures.

- Familiarity with developing microservices using containerization technologies such as docker, Kubernetes, etc.

- Working knowledge of git and using branches for development.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Ability to work on diverse backend stack such as Node JS, Express JS
2. Ability to work on diverse frontend stack such as Meteor JS, React JS, HTML5, CSS3

3. Ability to deliver quick POC’s using cutting edge technologies.

4. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

5. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

6. Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications. Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.

7. Ability to debug the application.

8. Should have complete knowledge of developing RESTful Services.

9. Should be able to also work in agile development methodology.
10. Work with designated JavaScript framework to design, develop, and debug web applications
11. Work with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple web applications
12. Manage end to end module lifecycle management of the product
13. Push and pull codes via Git repository

Competency Requirements

1. Experience in NodeJS and development using MeteroJS
2. Experience in front end frameworks - Meteor JS
3. Experience in client/server application development
4. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
5. Knowledge of unit testing theory
6. Knowledge of AWS cloud
7. Knowledge of other frontend frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS will be an advantage

• Drive the architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming, Java/Node/ Python, .Net.
• Hands on experience in delivering high quality software products.
• Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well between a ranges of complex systems.
• Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
• Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability.
• Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Design and implement scalable web applications and platforms using technologies such as Typescript, NestJS, Angular, NodeJS, ExpressJS, TypeORM, and Postgres

·         Good understanding of web and REST API design patterns

·         Experience with AWS technologies such as EKS, ECS, ECR, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, ALB will be an added advantage

·         Hands-on experience with unit test frameworks like Jest

·         Good working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git

·         Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure as code

·         Basic knowledge of Docker compose and Docker

·         Strong understanding of microservices architecture and ability to implement components independently

·         Proven track record of problem-solving skills

·         Excellent communication skills

• Responsible for the successful technical delivery of code and design documents
• Responsible to evaluate and review design frameworks and methodologies.
• Responsible for organizing, documenting, and review work items scope from a technical point of view.
• Responsible for scoping, designing, development, reviews, and complete delivery from the technical end.
• Review and validate estimates for complex projects to ensure correct sizing of work.
• Participates in POCs, validates the complex technical solution, performs estimates and collateral consolidation.
• Lead and coach a team of junior developers

Requirement

• Strong experience in the development of microservices-based applications using JEE technologies Spring Boot, and Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience in handling integration with multiple legacy systems by creating/consuming services in SOAP/REST/MQ, Apache Camel integration framework.
• Strong experience in developing web applications using single-page architecture and a responsive design using Angular, Bootstrap, and building hybrid mobile applications
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Containerizing applications using Docker/Kubernetes
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube is a plus
• Setting up applications for log monitoring using ELK stack and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana is a plus
• Ensure quality and timeliness of implementation of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product; participate in activities related to requirements elicitation, validation of architecture, creation, and review of design; provide pseudo code to the team; assign and review tasks for work product implementation with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings in own technology domain
• Performs high and low-level design provides pseudo-codes, implements the prototype, and does design reviews in order to deliver design documents as per customer requirements
• Provides inputs for an overall implementation plan, lead deployment of applications, infrastructure, and post-production support activities
• Interface with customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence in team`s ability to deliver in order to support high customer satisfaction
• Understand client-side business requirements and provide value-led solutions. Should have strong and clear verbal and written communication skills including addressing escalations, presenting status in management meetings. Excellent client interfacing skills, mentoring skills
• Experienced in developing microservices/APIs using REST principles
• Experienced in JEE technologies, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Swagger
• Experienced in using Queues (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ, Kafka) and integration frameworks like Apache Camel
• Experienced in Front End skills include Angular, CSS, SAAS, Node, NPM, Bootstrap
• Experience with one of the application servers like Tomcat, JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres, Oracle DB2, and NoSQL databases like Elastic Search, MongoDB, Neo4J
• Experience in containerizing applications using Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube is a plus
• Experience in setting up applications for log monitoring using ELK stack and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana is a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 year of strong demonstrated knowledge in PHP, Mysql, Mongodb, Jquery, SASS

• Experience on PHP, PHP Frameworks, Ajax, Knowledge on CMS platform like Opencart, payment gateway integration, experience working on portals.
