We are a fast-growing tech company building scalable and modern web applications. Our team works on cutting-edge technologies in AI, automation, and digital solutions. We are looking for a Frontend Intern (Next.js) to join our engineering team and contribute to building interactive and user-friendly web applications.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy responsive user interfaces using Next.js and React.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement seamless user experiences.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
• Work on real-world projects involving dashboards, AI products, and customer-facing platforms.
• Assist in debugging, code reviews, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks (TailwindCSS, Material UI, etc.).
• Knowledge of REST APIs or GraphQL integration.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience with Git/GitHub is a plus.

Nice-to-Have (Optional but a Plus)

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
• Exposure to UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).

Your key responsibilities will be converting PSD/Figma into HTML/CSS. You will also be responsible for writing clean, semantic front end code - HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Java Script.

Selection Criteria

• Seek to enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company

• 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
• Detailed experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze websites using HTML, CSS and comparable languages
• Continued education and research into UI development trends and current design strategy and technology

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently

Knowledge and Skills:

• Writing semantic, modern, and accessible HTML mark-up.
• ReactJS (v17),Type Script, HTML, CSS
• Organizing and writing modular, well-structured CSS.
• Mastery of turning complex mock-ups into performant components/pages.
• Strong familiarity with Vanilla JS and up to date with the latest TypeScript features.
• Experience with writing scalable and performant code for a high-traffic website.
• Experience and/or knowledge of both Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming principles.
• Willingness and desire to learn new and legacy frameworks.
• CSS pre-processing via SCSS.

Role

• Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications.
• Design, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
• Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Integrate third-party API's.
• Developing new user-facing features using React Native.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wire-frames into high-quality code
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of android and ios devices.
• Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores.
• Work with native modules when required.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in React Js, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Object Oriented Programming - 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native
• Deep knowledge of component state management experience (specifically in React Native)
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
• Good understanding of Redux
• Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for bench-marking and optimisation

This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectation into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimized both in technology and in delivering the best user experience. You’ll be working on various projects in collaboration with different teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.
• Responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views for an enterprise in accordance with numerous open-source technologies, messaging/web service protocols (REST, JSONRPC, SOAP, etc.) and one of the more common architecture frameworks.
• Understanding and presenting the immediate/tactical and strategic benefits of adopting a consistent architectural approach within the context of the client’s business to help the stakeholders justify investments.

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience as a UI developer, JavaScript expert or front-end engineer
• Sound knowledge in HTML and CSS
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
• Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular 2+ and Ionic framework
• Experience debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• Knowledge of Pixi js (is plus)
• Strong business analysis skills and experience, including development of business vision and strategies, functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modeling. 
• Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
