We are looking for a highly driven Deal Sourcing Specialist for our Debt Syndication vertical. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, source, and onboard debt funding opportunities from startups, MSMEs, and SMEs. The candidate will play a critical role in building a strong pipeline of quality deals for various debt products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and originate debt funding opportunities from startups, MSMEs, and SMEs
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients seeking debt financing
- Identify funding requirements and align them with suitable debt instruments
- Work closely with internal teams for smooth deal handover post sourcing
- Develop relationships with founders, CFOs, and key decision-makers
- Ensure consistent deal flow with ticket sizes ranging from ₹50 Lakhs to ₹5+ Crores
- Stay updated with market trends, lending products, and industry developments
Ideal Candidate
- Strong BD / Deal Sourcing profile, with exposure to Loan sourcing for MSME's / Startups
- Mandatory (Experience): Must have 2+ YOE in debt syndication or loan sourcing opportunities for Startups, SMEs ore MSMEs
- Mandatory (Core Skill 1): Must have experience sourcing clients and building pipeline of MSMEs / startups who need loans (NOT closing deals)
- Mandatory (Core Skill 2): Must understand basic debt products (term loans, working capital, etc.) and credit underwriting
- Mandatory (Core Skill 3): Must have strong networking skills with founders / SMEs / CFOs
- Mandatory (Core Skill 4): Must have experience generating deal flow (₹50L – ₹5Cr+ ticket size preferred)
- Mandatory (Note 1): This is purely deal sourcing role, not deal execution/closure
- Mandatory (Note 2): This is for the Debt Syndication vertical of Bizdateup. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing deals, which will then be handed over to the Senior Investment Banker (Debt Syndication) for further processing and closure
