Data Engineer

This is a full-time position for a Channel Partner Executive, located in India. The Channel Partner Executive will manage relationships with channel partners, oversee account activities, and drive channel sales strategy to expand the company’s market presence. Responsibilities include developing business plans, identifying new partnership opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to support sales growth and partner success.

Qualifications & Experience: -

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience).
• 2+ years providing customer-facing technical support (ITOM applications).
• Good Communication Skills.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

• Ability to comprehend, modify server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell.
• Ability in server administration across OS platforms (Windows/Unix). Including understanding of user permission levels, domain configuration, group policy objects and execution of SUDO Policies.
• Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP and REST, Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Traceroute.
• Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
• Must be proficient with analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts.
• Familiarity with tools & practices of the trade such as incident management, knowledge base, defect & escalation management.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Preferred: - 

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming skills (Java strongly preferred)
• A fundamental understanding of ITOM, CMDB and ITIL business process. 
• Experience providing web development support is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working with the ServiceNow platform (Asset Management, Orchestration, Discovery, Mid Server, BSM Map & Service Mapping).
• Understanding of JavaScript or any other scripting language with logical approach for given problem statement.
• Previous experience in software development(or) software consulting.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting infrastructure level issues.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Create highly responsive B2C web-app using a wide range of open source frontend and backend technology.
• Create single page applications using a wide range of javascript & cutting edge libraries/frameworks.
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of a project, including development, unit testing, system testing and change management.
• Research technical issues and provides recommendations to enhance JavaScript products.
• Manage/Lead a team of 10+ javascript fullstack developers to handle a wide range of projects across different products.
• Code reviews, Overall project estimations, Estimation reviews, Project planning.
• Interact with stakeholders for the development requirements gathering.
• Layout a technical career growth plan for the team members.
• Working with multiple projects.

 What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferably from IIT,NIT & other premier institutes.
• Rockstar Javascript developer, who appreciates the intricacies of JS as well as passionate to follow new trends in JS.
• Experience with product companies.
• 9-12 yrs of software development on advanced JavaScript stack (Native Javascript, Asynchronous Request Handling, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, etc).
• 2-4 yrs of experience in leading and mentoring a team. 
• In-depth knowledge in ReactJS & NodeJS
• Proficiency in any other modern web frameworks will be a plus.
• A solid knowledge of advanced data structures & algorithms.
• Proficient in Computer Science fundamentals & object-oriented design.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to tackle those.
• Must possess a track record of building Single Page responsive UI.
• Experience with Databases such as NoSQL and any RDBMS will be a plus.
• Experience with transport protocols such as TCP, HTTP & WebSocket.
• Expressing and appreciating design patterns is a real addition.
• Critical of coding practices and development methodologies.

Experience

• 1-2 years with Node.js and Express

Requirements

• Fluent knowledge of the latest HTML/CSS standards and best practices

Required Skills and Experience 

• 3+ years of relevant experience with DevOps tools Jenkins, Ansible, Chef etc
• 3+ years of experience in continuous integration/deployment and software tools development experience with Python and shell scripts etc
• Building and running Docker images and deployment on Amazon ECS
• Working with AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, RDS, Cloudwatch, ECS, ECR, EKS)
• Knowledge and experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
• Experience with source code and configuration management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Maven
• Ability to work with and support Linux environments (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, CentOS)
• Knowledge and experience in cloud orchestration tools such as AWS Cloudformation/Terraform etc
• Experience with implementing "infrastructure as code", “pipeline as code” and "security as code" to enable continuous integration and delivery
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, NACLs, and KMS
• Good communication skills

Good to have:

• Strong understanding of security concepts, methodologies and apply them such as SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates etc.
• Knowledge of database administration such as MongoDB.
