Android Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Flutter Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using the Flutter framework. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mobile app development, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to build seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications using Flutter.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver engaging and functional applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient Dart code following best practices and design patterns.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and platform-specific features.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with Flutter and mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Job Description:-  

•  Design, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both Android and iOS mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Integrate third-party API's.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores.
• Work with native modules when required.
• Assist with building estimates.
• Work with modern tools including Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket etc.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent   user experience.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• 3+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience Working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take ownership over your work.
• An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
• Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.

• You will build an android app for the Saathi users (Teachers and students) to manage teacher classes and students’ studies.
• You will work on building features end to end with complete ownership, developing, testing, and deploying the core features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the Saathi app

• You have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin or have a strong desire to shift to Kotlin.
• You have 2- 4 years of experience in android development.
• You have strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and know how to deal with different screen sizes
• You have proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC
• You have familiarity with various testing tools
• You are good in pixel-perfect implementation of designs
• You can easily pick up new technologies and frameworks on the go. For you, engineering is about principles and practices; technology is about tools and tradeoffs.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and can map out the system design for a feature end to end and execute on it.
• You want to be involved actively in the product development process and can come up with out-of-the-box ideas for unique features.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory: Hands on experience working with Swift 3 , Swift 4. Very strong logical skills. Good hold on operating system concepts and data structure. Experience with web services , core-data , camera kit , image caching concepts, keychain , past experience working with one of the design patterns like MVC / MVVM / Viper , network check.

Tech Stack :

    SWIFT, CORE DATA, CORE ANIMATION, CFNETWORK, UIKIT, MVVM, MVC FRAMEWORK.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in iOS & hands-on exp in Swift.
• This position requires creative ability, detail-orientation, quick problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven software development experience and IOS skills development.
• Proven working experience in IOS app development and Have published at least one original IOS app.
• Experience with Agile development methodology (preferably Scrum), continuous integration and tools (GIT, JIRA etc.)
• Strong Experience with Swift, Cocoa Touch, iOS, and iPhone/iPad applications.
• Proficiency in iOS application development using swift.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, CFNetwork, UIKit etc.
• In-depth Understanding of Apples recommended design principles, interface guidelines.
• Must know about MVVM, also have experience in MVC Architecture.
• Good knowledge of Data Structures.Hands-on experience of development of iOS native app.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notification.
• Must have experience with performance and memory tuning of complex Apps.
• Must have designed custom UIs apart from what Apple provides.
• UI development with Interface Builder and Code.
• Understanding of startup culture.
