About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who is also proficient in AI-driven video generation tools. The ideal candidate can generate video content from text prompts using Gen-AI platforms and then refine, enhance, and polish that content using professional video editing software. This role requires a strong foundation in core video editing principles, combined with the ability to leverage AI tools to efficiently transform concepts into high-quality visual narratives.

Responsibilities:

• Own the editing and finishing of short-form and long-form videos from rough to publish-ready output.
• Perform cuts, trims, pacing adjustments, and basic transitions using DaVinci Resolve.
• Apply basic color correction, audio sync, and visual continuity fixes.
• Maintain strong narrative flow, timing, and visual consistency across edits.
• Generate video inputs using AI video generation tools through effective prompt writing.
• Write and refine prompts to achieve the required motion, composition, mood, and storytelling intent.
• Improve AI-generated outputs through prompt iteration and editorial judgment.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to align edits with project goals.
• Deliver consistent, deadline-driven outputs suitable for publishing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in video editing and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional editing tools.
• Clear understanding of filmmaking logic, composition, framing, and visual continuity.
• Ability to think beyond aesthetics and focus on story, clarity, and execution.
• Hands-on experience generating video using AI tools and prompts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-iteration, production-focused environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AI video tools such as Runway, Pika, Gen-3, Veo, or similar.
• Understanding of cinematic framing, camera movement, and shot types.
• Experience working on short-form content, trailers, or micro-dramas.
• Basic knowledge of sound design and motion graphics.

Experience:

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing, AI video generation, or related creative roles.
• Strong portfolio and prompt samples may substitute for years of experience.

About the Role

This role is responsible for defining the cinematic look and feel of a project, shaping character and environment style, designing shot composition and framing across the storyline, and overseeing AI led shot generation through post production finishing in DaVinci. This is not a traditional graphic design role. It is a creative direction and visual storytelling role built for an AI native production pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall visual language, mood, and cinematic identity of a series or film
• Build and drive visual direction for characters, environments, tone, lighting, and world style
• Translate story beats into strong shot level camera composition, framing, and visual flow
• Review and guide AI generated shot production to maintain consistency, quality, and emotional impact
• Oversee post production refinement and final video polish in DaVinci Resolve
• Ensure visual continuity across scenes, sequences, and episodes
• Work closely with story, production, and AI pipeline teams to turn narratives into compelling screen output
• Continuously improve output quality by giving clear creative feedback to AI driven workflows
