Role Overview
We are looking for a .NET Engineer – L2 Support Specialist with hands-on experience in L2 Application Support, Manual Testing, and Product Documentation.
The selected candidate will diagnose and resolve application issues, manage incidents through ServiceNow, perform structured manual testing, maintain test cases in Azure DevOps, and create clear user and technical documentation.
This is a hybrid position and is not limited to application support. Candidates must have practical experience across support, testing, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
L2 Application Support
- Handle L2 support tickets and user-reported application issues.
- Analyse, diagnose, and resolve incidents within the defined service timelines.
- Manage support requests through ServiceNow and provide regular updates.
- Investigate application issues using logs, SQL queries, APIs, HTTP responses, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Support and troubleshoot enterprise applications developed using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Reproduce reported issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
- Validate fixes before closing incidents or deploying changes.
- Create and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
- Identify recurring incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
Manual Testing
- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release-validation testing.
- Understand business requirements and prepare appropriate testing coverage.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and testing checklists.
- Record test results and prepare test execution reports.
- Identify, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Retest resolved defects and performed regression testing.
- Support release testing and verification before production deployment.
- Use Azure DevOps Test Plans for test-case management, execution, traceability, and reporting.
- Track defects and testing progress through Azure DevOps.
- Generate testing-status reports and quality metrics

Product and User Documentation
- Prepare and maintain user manuals and end-user guides.
- Create knowledge-base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting documents.
- Prepare and update release notes.
- Maintain test documentation, UAT records, and release-validation reports.
- Update documentation whenever new features or product changes are introduced.
- Ensure that all documentation is clear, structured, accurate, and user-friendly.
Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Work closely with support, QA, development, product, and business teams.
- Communicate technical issues and testing results clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in release planning and product-quality discussions.
- Track incident trends, testing status, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvements across support, testing, and documentation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in L2 application or production support.
- Practical experience in manual, functional, and regression testing.
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and testing checklists.
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, including incident management, reporting, and dashboards.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Test Plans, test-case management, work-item tracking, and defect management.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications developed using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, web applications, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience investigating issues through application logs.
- Experience preparing test execution reports and release-validation documentation.
- Experience creating user manuals, knowledge-base articles, release notes, or similar documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical-writing skills.
