We are hiring a Digital Marketing Executive with at least 1 year of relevant experience to manage our end-to-end digital marketing and support operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running paid campaigns, improving organic visibility, handling customer queries, and supporting administrative tasks including cold email outreach.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Conversion tracking)
• Manage Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns from setup to performance analysis
• Handle On-Page SEO (keyword optimization, meta tags, content structuring) and Off-Page SEO (backlinks, directory submissions, guest posting)
• Manage customer support queries via email/chat/calls in a timely and professional manner
• Handle cold emailing campaigns for author acquisition, editorial board outreach, and related activities
• Assist with general administrative and coordination tasks
• Prepare reports on campaign performance, SEO rankings, and outreach metrics
• Use AI tools to improve content creation, campaign optimization, and productivity
• Maintain documentation using MS Word, Excel, and other office tools

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in digital marketing
• Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
• Understanding of On-Page and Off-Page SEO techniques
• Good command of MS Office tools, especially MS Word (formatting, documentation)
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, etc.) for content and productivity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Experience with cold emailing / outreach tools is a plus
• Prior experience in customer support or client handling preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field preferred

Good to Have

• Familiarity with website content management
• Basic knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, etc.)

We have an existing academic journal publishing and management platform developed using:

• Next.js
• React
• Node.js
• PostgreSQL
• REST APIs

The platform is already functional and includes author, reviewer, editorial and admin workflows.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Next.js Developer / Frontend Tech Lead to work on an existing production application.

The primary requirement is to redesign and rebuild the frontend while reusing the existing backend, APIs, database and business logic wherever technically feasible.

This is not a greenfield project and we do not want unnecessary rewriting of the existing backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and understand the existing Next.js application and architecture.
• Review existing APIs and backend integration.
• Develop a completely redesigned, professional academic/publishing frontend.
• Convert Figma designs into clean, responsive Next.js interfaces.
• Integrate the new frontend with existing Node.js APIs.
• Maintain existing workflows and functionality.
• Work on author, reviewer, editor and admin dashboards.
• Develop responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Improve frontend performance, usability and maintainability.
• Ensure proper authentication and role-based access handling.
• Identify frontend/backend dependencies that may require minor backend changes.
• Follow clean coding standards and reusable component architecture.
• Work through Git with proper commits, branches and code reviews.
• Coordinate with UI/UX designer and QA during development.
• Ensure the redesigned application is production-ready.
