As a part of Smartserv’s HR team, you will play the pivotal role in building the high performing team which is crucial to our success and work culture. You will define and drive the strategic direction of our recruiting efforts, own the talent acquisition process end-to-end, improve our employer brand and overall candidate experience. You will drive the strong linkage between our company’s strategic goals and HR initiatives, and be an integral part of growing our entire HR gamut, including recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, employee retention, organizational development, policies and compliance, and C&B. We’re looking for a high-energy hunter focused, outgoing person who is technically savvy and is quick on their feet. This position offers a great opportunity for a proactively engaging individual who can work to identify gaps and manage them to provide solutions using creativity and teamwork. Responsibilities: 1. Work collaboratively with the management to understand the business requirements and define consistent data-driven hiring metrics and goals. Lead talent planning initiatives, including manpower planning and resource rationalization. 2. Strategize and create go-to-market strategies to build talent pipelines and executive tactical research (sourcing from LinkedIn, AngelList, etc.), referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns 3. Draft the job descriptions and manage job postings on external job boards. 4. Screen resumes and interview potential candidates to determine fit (technical and cultural). Work with the executive team to schedule interviews and follow-through with candidates on feedback. 5. Regularly track pipeline, priorities and performance data to share with the team. 6. Manage new employee onboarding; create and maintain onboarding materials. 7. Execute HR initiatives - talent development, employee relations, organizational development and other generalist activities. 8. Be the engagement point of contact for all requests regarding workplace support. 9. Plan and organize team-building events and assist in cultivating a collaborative, friendly and fun work environment. 10.Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and ways to improve our employer brand and candidate experience. Background: 1. Recent graduate in HR, Communications, Business, Sales & Marketing, or similar 2. More than 1year of relevant professional experience. 3. Experience in sourcing, recruiting, and closing exceptional talent (including passive candidates) 4. Proficiency with MS Office suite, G-Suite tools, and experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems 5. Experience working with a technology startup is highly preferred Requirements: 1. Strong organizational skills with a good eye for talent to quickly screen resumes to identify fit. 2. Sound sourcing approach with the ability to dive deep and manage searches for hard-to-fill multiple positions simultaneously. 3. Seasoned experience in sourcing passive candidates across a multitude of platforms and using boolean search strings. 4. Sharp interview skills with an ability to screen for both technical and cultural qualities. 5. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills - conveying clear and impactful messages through various channels across levels and build strong, productive relationships. 6. Self-starter with exceptional persistence to excel in a quickly changing, unstructured environment. 7. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple events, and conflicting priorities. 8. Comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our processes smarter and more efficient.
