About the role We are looking for a content marketer with experience creating content in the finance domain including content for blogs, web pages, social and marketing campaigns. The goal will be to create engaging content that connects with their target audiences and moves them through the buyer’s journey. You must be a good storyteller and have your roots in analytics to ensure that your content is engaging and effective. You will be an individual contributor along with the strategist in writing the brand content. External and freelance resources will be made available to you for topics that are outside your scope Objectives and Responsibilities Strategy: You will be responsible for devising a long-term content strategy for the company that brings the culture of the company to the forefront. You will create a vision for the company’s blogs, emails, social media, etc. ensuring that we not only generate product-relevant content but also emerge as thought leaders in the industry. Research: You will need to collaborate with product and research teams to get relevant insight into future plans, information for consumers and industry trends. You will have your ear to the ground within the organisation and out to catch trends before they blow up, address consumer issues and concerns with the industry at large and connect Bonanza’s services as solutions to those issues. Writing: You will write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services and write, proofread and edit blog posts before publication. You must coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles, write content for social media channels, update website content as needed keeping in line with standard SEO principles. As a part of the SEO activities, you will also write PR press releases and create product whitepapers (post liaising with product teams) Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or any other related field. Experience: A suitable candidate will have had a minimum of 3 year’s working experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role. Portfolio of published articles/blog posts (please provide links while applying). Experience within the finance or fintech domain is a plus. Communication Skills: Strong writing and editing skills in English. Analytical & Technical Skills: Must have experience working with Google Analytics, Hubspot, SEMRush or similar tools. Must have hands-on experience with content management systems. Interpersonal Skills: The candidate must be highly disciplined, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines when working on multiple projects.
