The Role

Working in our Integrations Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in building products for healthcare . You’ll design and implement integrations with EMRs/EHRs and healthcare APIs, ensuring our technology fits seamlessly into clinical workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain integrations between our products and healthcare systems, following interoperability standards like HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR.
• Extend Azure Health Data Services (AHDS) enabling conformance with Australian FHIR standards.
• Work with APIs and distributed systems that power product core features, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Improve the reliability and accuracy of data pipelines.
• Champion best practices for building robust, maintainable systems in healthcare contexts.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Prior experience integrating with healthcare systems (Cliniko, Halaxy, MediRecords, Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, Meditech, etc.).
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, SMART on FHIR, etc.).
• Proficiency in a prominent programming language such as Python, C++, Rust, C#, Java, Javascript, Typescript etc., with experience building APIs and backend services (preferably with FastAPI).
• Experience working with datastores such as MongoDB and Redis
• Experience with integration design, including RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and event-driven systems.

Bonus points

• Previous experience in digital health startups or companies building EHR/EMR solutions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or curiosity about speech-to-text systems.
• Full-stack experience with backend services (Python, FastAPI) and frontend frameworks (React.js) is a plus.
• Passion for improving healthcare and clinician experience. 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable C++ applications.
•  Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
• Strong proficiency in including STL, smart pointers, multithreading, and templates.

Job Description:

1. Develop, and maintain Java applications using Core Java, Spring framework, JDBC, and threading concepts.

Pendo is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join the GTM Systems team, supporting our Revenue organization by leveraging your deep knowledge of Salesforce development to design both standard and creative solutions and lead technical projects. Role responsibilities

• Custom development: Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex (Triggers, Classes, Async Apex), Visualforce, LWC, and Lightning Aura Components.
• Integrations: Build, maintain, and optimize complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Automation & process optimization: Develop solutions that streamline end-to-end business processes using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and custom Apex triggers.

Minimum qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with expert-level proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Async Apex), LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Flow.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governance including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Proven experience building and maintaining complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment and release management tools including Change Sets, Git, and CI/CD platforms such as Copado or Gearset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, conduct code reviews, and mentor other developers.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI tools (such as Salesforce Einstein, Microsoft Copilot, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

Preferred qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or higher.
