About the role

We’re hiring an IT Systems Administrator for an NBFC to secure endpoints, SaaS, and networks across ~50 branches, ~250+ field staff, and ~50+ office users.

This is primarily an IT Admin + Security role, with secondary exposure to AWS cloud ops + light DevOps + basic DB access management.

If you’re an IT Admin aiming to break into AWS Cloud Ops + DevOps, this role is a strong next step — you’ll own core IT/security and get hands-on exposure to cloud operations and deployments.

Key responsibilities (Primary: IT Admin + Security)

• Manage endpoint security for laptops and mobiles (policies, patching, encryption, antivirus/EDR); drive MDM implementation now/future (e.g., Intune/Jamf).
• Administer Google Workspace (Gmail/Drive/Calendar): users, groups, permissions, SSO, MFA, sharing controls.
• Own joiner–mover–leaver lifecycle: provisioning/deprovisioning, access controls, periodic access reviews.
• Secure branch connectivity: VPN, internal Wi-Fi, internet usage controls; coordinate troubleshooting and standardization across branches.
• Manage HO security stack: firewall operations, rule changes with change control, monitoring/log review (basic but consistent).
• Secure SaaS tools (CRM/HRMS/comms like Slack/Zoom): role-based access, MFA enforcement, offboarding, integration/OAuth controls.
• Maintain IT asset inventory: procurement coordination, issuance/return, audits, warranty/AMC, license renewals; remote lock/wipe for lost devices.
• Handle security incidents: phishing, account compromise, device loss/theft — contain, investigate, recover, and prevent recurrence.
• Run backups and basic DR testing; maintain SOPs/documentation and train staff on cyber hygiene.
• Provide hands-on user support: laptop builds, software installs, Outlook/Excel issues, VPN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, escalations and vendor coordination.

Secondary responsibilities (AWS + DevOps + DB ops support)

• Support AWS administration: IAM users/roles/policies, MFA, access key hygiene, basic log review (e.g., CloudTrail).
• Manage AWS access controls: security groups/firewall rules, IP allowlists/whitelisting (admin tools, databases, vendor access).
• Assist engineering with DevOps operations:
• CI/CD support (deployment coordination, rollbacks, environment configuration)
• Secrets/credentials management and rotation (no shared creds)
• DNS + SSL/TLS certificates, basic monitoring/alerting coordination
• Bonus: Docker/Kubernetes and Terraform exposure
• Basic database operations (admin-lite):
• DB user creation, roles/permissions, least-privilege access
• IP allowlisting/whitelisting for DB access via VPN/approved sources
• Backup/restore verification coordination and basic monitoring signals (connections/storage)

Requirements

• 3+ years in IT security / systems administration (BFSI or branch-heavy org preferred).
• Hands-on with Google Workspace administration.
• Strong endpoint/security fundamentals: encryption, patching, AV/EDR, remote support, device compliance.
• Comfortable with networks: VPN/Wi-Fi/LAN troubleshooting; firewall basics and change discipline.
• Strong operational discipline: asset tracking, vendor management, documentation, ticketing, user communication.
• Practical AWS familiarity (IAM, access controls, logging) and ability to support DevOps workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing MDM at scale (Intune/Jamf/SureMDM).
• Exposure to SOC2 / ISO27001 evidence, controls, and audit workflows.
• Scripting for automation (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with managed databases and secure access patterns.

• Conduct research to identify trends and demand in training areas like HR, data science, digital marketing, etc., within the college and corporate sectors.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and adjust partnership strategies accordingly to position SkillDeck as a preferred training partner.

Project Management:

• Oversee the successful implementation of partnership agreements, ensuring that deliverables and timelines are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams (content, marketing, and product) to customize course offerings as per partner requirements.

Relationship Building & Networking:

• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing partners, providing regular updates and exploring opportunities for growth.
• Attend industry conferences, networking events, and educational fairs to promote SkillDeck and connect with potential partners.

Reporting and Goal Tracking:

• Track partnership performance metrics, generate reports, and present insights to management.
• Meet or exceed quarterly targets for new partnerships, revenue, and client engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles, preferably in the education or training industry.
• Proven track record of closing deals with academic institutions or corporate clients.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with training and development trends, particularly in technology and professional upskilling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CRM software for tracking leads and managing client relationships.

The Senior Engineer – Windows Administration will be responsible for L2-level troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of Windows Server and Client OS environments. The role spans operating system administration, backup and patch management, antivirus, monitoring, and Office 365 administration. The engineer will ensure compliance, security, and high availability of IT services while also supporting end-user environments.

Key Responsibilities:

OS Administration

• Perform OS-level troubleshooting for both Windows Server and Windows Client environments.
• Configure and manage network and security configurations across servers and client endpoints.
• Maintain documentation for OS configurations and updates.

Backup Management

• Fine-tune backup strategies for servers and critical client systems.
• Conduct regular backup and restore testing to validate data integrity and recovery capability.
• Respond effectively to incidents, including recovery from data loss.

Patch Management

• Troubleshoot failed patch deployments for servers and client endpoints.
• Ensure timely patch compliance with organizational security policies.

Antivirus Management

• Fine-tune antivirus policies for both server and endpoint environments.
• Resolve complex antivirus-related incidents and escalations.

Monitoring & Alerts

• Address and resolve advanced monitoring alerts across servers and client devices.
• Ensure proactive detection, reporting, and remediation of issues.

Office 365 Administration

• Manage Office 365 licenses and subscription allocations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Implement governance and compliance controls for secure usage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 6 –8 years of experience in Windows Administration, with L2/L3 troubleshooting exposure.

Strong expertise in:

• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows Client OS (Windows 10/11)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Backup solutions and recovery processes, including periodic testing
• Patch and antivirus management across server and endpoint environments
• Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune preferred)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001 preferred).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

Role Objectives 

• Participate in complex design and software development tasks within an appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines set in conjunction with the Senior Platform Specialists and Platform Architect  

• Hands-on development and implementation of solutions including the configuration of e.IQ platform components and custom development 

• Tasks associated with testing and documentation of solution implemented 

Academic Qualification
B.E/B.Tech/MCA in computer science Engineering or a related field. 

Experience Profile  

4 -6 years of experience in development or platform implementations.

Required Technical Skillset for Java Development

• core JavaScript, CSS, HTML-5,

• At least one of these frameworks (Angular JS / React /Vue / jQuery / Bootstrap)

• Experience in developing front-end web applications for various devices (responsive) 
  

Good to have:
