Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior BIM Architect with strong Autodesk Revit skills and a keen interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM). In this role you will create and manage Revit families, produce accurate drafting and documentation, and support architectural projects to deliver high-quality, coordinated BIM content and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain Revit families for furniture, fixtures, equipment, and building components.
- Prepare furniture layouts, finish plans, elevations, and construction details—primarily for hospitality projects and similar sectors.
- Work with architects, designers, and engineers to translate project requirements into accurate and coordinated BIM models.
- Ensure Revit content and models comply with industry standards, company protocols, and project-specific guidelines.
- Organize and maintain documentation for Revit families, including parameters and version history.
- Support BIM workflows across project teams, including model coordination and clash detection/resolution.
- Participate in model reviews, identify issues, and implement improvements to model quality and efficiency.
- Keep up to date with BIM trends, Revit updates, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-10 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on BIM and Revit.
- Proven proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including Revit family creation.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards, and coordinated workflows.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools and version control for BIM is a plus.
