Key Responsibilities

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Maintain and improve website
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Create fast and functional and intuitive interfaces
• Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integrate tests and deployment scripts

• Translate designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance

• Suggest improvements to user interface, software architecture or use of new technologies Deliver reliable solutions that handle massive data and high traffic.

Skills Required

• Hands on experience with markup languages
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Tech/ M.Tech in CS or other related fields such as EE or MCA from IIT/NIT/BITS but not compulsory.
• Good experience in JavaScript/ReactJS/Nodejs/HTML/jQuery/Css/SASS

• Experience in AngularJs/ Webpack/ Gulp will be a plus point but not mandatory Strong Javascript fundamentals along with experience with libraries.
• Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks, and technologies

• Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions Communicates continually with the project teams Explains progress on the development effort

• Self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing environment A hands on and a passionate coder with minimalistic design sense

• Prior start up experience is preferred

• Overall 3+  years of software development experience in building web-based and highly scalable applications. 

• Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure, system design, OOP, etc. 

• Deep knowledge and development expertise in React Native/ReactJS 

• Hands-on coding experience in developing multi platform (iOS & Android) mobile applications with REST APIs.

• Experience working as a Full stack developer is a big plus.

• Experience in building single page applications or Javascript heavy front end applications in ReactJS is a big plus.

• Experience working in cloud environments with CI/CD and infrastructure automation is a big plus.

• Experience working in an agile team with software engineering practices like automated testing, test-driven-development, continuous integration, etc is a big plus. 

• Strong oral and written communication.

• Build world class Webapps for the Ola Electric ecosystem.
• Work on a full product development lifecycle from requirement gathering, product design, development, to roll out and maintenance
• Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including product and design
• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end 
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Experience in building Websites from Scratch is a big plus

REQUIREMENT-

• 2-4 years of experience with working on UI frameworks like Angular
• Experience in product companies would be a plus
• Must have a solid understanding of JavaScript and related libs, CSS
• Big plus if familiar with Django, Flask, Postgres, Linux, Git, AWS
• Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
• Ability to define cross-core contracts and bring them to closure through collaboration.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Git and proficiency with Jenkin
