Tech lead - Mobile

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs
• Debug and fix issues to improve application performance
• Publish apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with state management tools like Redux / MobX / Context API
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and services
• Knowledge of native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio)
• Familiarity with native modules, bridging, and performance optimization
• Experience in debugging and testing mobile applications
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
• Experience with Git version control

This opportunity is for you if,

• 4 to 6 years overall experience, 2 to 3 years experience in React Native
• You have experience with building and shipping React Native powered products at scale using Redux/MobX frameworks Android (Java) and iOS (Swift) background
• You have experience in building, deploying, and monitoring changes to critical user flows without disrupting the customer experience and business
• You have the capability to execute rapidly and efficiently in an unstructured entrepreneurial environment
• You have experience with architecture and implementing component-based UI frameworks and design systems
• You have experience working on small, fast-moving teams Understanding of CS fundamentals and how they apply in a front-end engineering scope
• You have knack for writing clean, readable, re-usable code
• You are a great analytical & logical thinker and someone who loves solving problems

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform

Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Bug fixing and improving application performance

What You Need for this Position:

B.tech/BE/MS/MCA/BCA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
3+ years of experience using Swift to develop and deliver production applications for iOS
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of native development patterns
Experience with ios app testing and security, including writing unit tests, test automation, and working closely with quality assurance teams
Experience with dependency management tools such as Cocoapods, SPM, and Carthage
Debugging experience with stack traces, spin traces, performance & concurrency/threading issues
Successful launch of consumer-grade applications to the Apple App Store
Experience with Git VCS and best practices for source code management
Proven experience with crafting and integrating client-side REST APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, FastLane and others)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, and outstanding analytical skills

Android

• Strong understanding of the OOPS concept.
• Working experience in Java and Kotlin language. (Must)
• Knowledge of Offline Sync, Multithreading, Realm/Room/SQLLite databases, Live data, Socket Programming. (Must)
• Familiar with Android Jetpack components (Must)
• Idea/Experience of MVC/MVVM and MVP
• At least 1 live application on Playstore. (Must)
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

• Idea/experience in RxJava, RxKotlin
• Idea/experience of unit and instrumentation testing in Android
• Knowledge of Web RTC.
• Experience with tools like Git, Jira, Basecamp, BitBucket, Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
• Good to have experience working with IOT projects, Bluetooth technologies
• Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contribution will be a big plus
• Having personal apps in play store will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies.
