Position Responsibilities :

Position Overview

As an Automation Engineer at Deltek, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a key role in accelerating delivery cycles by building scalable automation solutions that support our engineering teams in delivering exceptional software to project-based businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable code in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#)
• Develop and enhance scripting solutions to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to identify automation opportunities and define test strategies
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to drive resolution
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks to increase coverage and efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and intelligent test generation techniques to enhance automation coverage and efficiency
• Utilize AI/ML-based anomaly detection and predictive analytics to proactively identify quality risks in the software delivery pipeline

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation engineering
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#)
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Experience working within CI/CD environments and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools) or experience integrating AI capabilities into test automation workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments or containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with performance or load testing tools
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
• Experience using large language models (LLMs) or generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate test script development and documentation
• Understanding of machine learning concepts as applied to test data generation, defect prediction, or intelligent test prioritization

1. GCP - GCS, PubSub, Dataflow or DataProc, Bigquery, BQ optimization, Airflow/Composer, Python(preferred)/Java

2. ETL on GCP Cloud - Build pipelines (Python/Java) + Scripting, Best Practices, Challenges

3. Knowledge of Batch and Streaming data ingestion, build End to Data pipelines on GCP

4. Knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL), On-Premise and On-Cloud, SQL vs No SQL, Types of No-SQL DB (At Least 2 databases)

5. Data Warehouse concepts - Beginner to Intermediate level

6.Data Modeling, GCP Databases, DB Schema(or similar)

7.Hands-on data modelling for OLTP and OLAP systems

8.In-depth knowledge of Conceptual, Logical and Physical data modelling

9.Strong understanding of Indexing, partitioning, data sharding, with practical experience of having done the same

10.Strong understanding of variables impacting database performance for near-real-time reporting and application interaction.

11.Should have working experience on at least one data modelling tool,

preferably DBSchema, Erwin

12Good understanding of GCP databases like AlloyDB, CloudSQL, and

Role & Responsibilities:

● Work with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes.

● Ability to design and implement Dimensional and Fact tables

● Identify and implement data transformation/cleansing requirements

● Develop a highly scalable, reliable, and high-performance data processing pipeline to extract, transform and load data from various systems to the Enterprise Data Warehouse

● Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions

● Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using the appropriate data load technique

● Provide research, high-level design, and estimates for data transformation and data integration from source applications to end-user BI solutions.

● Provide production support of ETL processes to ensure timely completion and availability of data in the data warehouse for reporting use.

● Analyze and resolve problems and provide technical assistance as necessary. Partner with the BI team to evaluate, design, develop BI reports and dashboards according to functional specifications while maintaining data integrity and data quality.

● Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements to implement the BI solutions.

● Leverage transactional information, data from ERP, CRM, HRIS applications to model, extract and transform into reporting & analytics.

● Define and document the use of BI through user experience/use cases, prototypes, test, and deploy BI solutions.

● Develop and support data governance processes, analyze data to identify and articulate trends, patterns, outliers, quality issues, and continuously validate reports, dashboards and suggest improvements.

● Train business end-users, IT analysts, and developers.

Below are the High-level Job Description:

1. New policy and use cases creation
2. 24/7 Administration and management of in scoped security devices, dedicated support to implementing the changes (additions, modifications and deletions) for Security Devices Configurations as per the organization change management policy or process
3. Participation in Change / Incident / Problem Management calls to comprehend, assess user-specific requirements and take appropriate actions if any
4. Development of a comprehensive Plan of Action (POA) inclusive of a rollback strategy as a precautionary measure for any change implementation, migration and upgrade
5. Precise execution of scheduled configuration changes within the specified timeframe as per the organization policy or process.
6. Sanity should be performed thoroughly after any changes, modification, upgrade, migration and rollback. It should be documented along with appropriate artefacts.
7. Periodic review of configuration, agent reconciliation, architecture and infrastructure to ensure necessary compliance, prevent any interruption, automation opportunities and optimization.
8. Conducting a thorough review release notes for both known, unknown issues and limitations pertaining to current and proposed releases.
9. Offering insightful suggestions or resolutions should advisories align with the infrastructure.
10. Post-upgrade, meticulously monitoring the Security Devices, validating application traffic, conducting essential testing, and documenting all artefacts generated
11. Document open issues / limitations / bugs of the new security solution to circulate across all concern teams before completion of the handover.
12. Execute routine device configuration and policy database updates adhering to InfoSec guidelines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.
13. Prepare appropriate report along with PoA and discuss with concern stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of the automation or optimizations.

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Senior Python Developer to design and build high-quality web applications and APIs. You will play a key role in system architecture & code quality. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with backend frameworks, frontend integration, and cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end web applications using Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and ensure security (JWT, OAuth2).
• Integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways or CRMs.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Optimize backend performance and database queries.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks, JavaScript (Angular), and SQL.

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment
