Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to join the software development team of a leading Clinical Research organization.

The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise applications, building scalable APIs, and contributing to feature development while ensuring code quality and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8+ and Hibernate.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs using JAX-RS (RestEasy) and Jackson.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including complex query writing.
• Develop UI components using JSP and React.js.
• Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes.
• Ensure code quality through SonarQube and SonarLint.
• Work with AWS services including IAM, SNS, SQS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Note : Candidates should preferably be sourced from organizations within the Grid ecosystem.

We are seeking a Java Engineer (6- 10 year's experience) in Bangalore/Gurgaon to drive modernization of enterprise financial platforms. You will lead cloud migration (AWS), integrate AI, and develop high-performance backend systems focusing on cleared derivatives, risk management, and margin optimization.

•Key Responsibilities

Backend Development: Build high-performance, low-latency services using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.

•Cloud Migration: Execute on premises to AWS cloud migration initiatives.

•Derivatives Focus: Implement complex business logic for cleared derivatives, covering trade matching and regulatory reporting.

•AI Integration: Implement AI pipelines for automated financial data processing.

•Architecture: Utilize AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, Kafka).

Required Technical Skills

•Java & Spring: Advanced Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.

•AWS: Strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and security.

•Databases: Expert-level SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).

•DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and migration patterns.

Must-Have Qualifications

•Domain expertise in Cleared Derivatives (Futures & Options, Clearing Houses).

•Experience designing scalable microservices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

•Experience with Generative AI or Agent builders.

•Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Soft Skills

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You'll Need:

• Strong software design and implementation skills in building infrastructure frameworks.
• Experience building and operating extensible, scalable resilient systems.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, etc).
• Willingness and ability to learn new languages and concepts.
• 8+ years of experience and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science -or- a related field.

• Cloud infrastructure systems engineering experience.
• Experience in building control planes.

• Experience with containers and cluster managers like Kubernetes.
