MERN Stack Developer

We are building LabourLens.io, an AI-powered workforce & operations SaaS platform (think multi-tenant, RBAC, onboarding overlays, feature flags, entitlement gating).

We already have specs, prompts, and code in place — you won’t be starting from zero. But you will be expected to own the build end-to-end.

This is not an agency gig or a “safe” CRUD job. Initially, you will be the only developer, working directly with the founder. You’ll be expected to:

• Hit tight deadlines and deliver production-ready code without hand-holding.
• Debug, design, and ship features under pressure (onboarding, invites, dashboards, APIs, event/webhooks).
• Enforce multi-tenant security and RBAC correctly (not “hacked together”).
• Work in Git with proper commits, branches, and documentation — no messy code dumps.

We move fast. Excuses don’t ship product. If you can’t handle deadlines, or if your experience is just “portfolio projects and CRUD apps”, do not apply.

You will:

• Take existing code and finish the MVP (org membership, onboarding overlay, entitlements, dashboards).
• Implement API endpoints + Supabase/Postgres logic with Row-Level Security.
• Build clean React/Next.js front-end with Tailwind/Shadcn.
• Deliver integrations (Make.com, AI APIs, Twilio/Retell) when needed.

This role is for someone who:

• Has actually built SaaS before (auth, multi-tenant, roles, dashboards).
• Wants ownership and accountability — not just tickets.
• Can work alone at first, but grows into leading a team later.

Compensation: ₹5–9 LPA (≈ $6k–11k/year, $500–$900/month). Full-time, remote, 8h/day.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on experience with back-end technologies: Python, C#, .NET, Node.js.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
• Proven experience in database design and modeling using SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with Vector Databases (e.g., Weaviate) is a strong plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and scalable web application architecture.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, best practices, and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to step out of comfort zones and learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong execution discipline with complete ownership of deliverables.
