Job Title: Backend Developer (C#, .NET Core)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in C#, .NET Core, and related technologies to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems to support our web applications and services. Your primary focus will be on building scalable RESTful APIs, integrating with databases, and implementing ETL processes to handle data transformation and loading tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
2. Build and optimize RESTful APIs to provide seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
3. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth communication and data exchange between client-side and server-side components.
4. Implement data access and storage solutions using SQL Server or other relational databases.
5. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle data migration, transformation, and loading tasks.
6. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance.
7. Ensure code quality, scalability, and security by following best practices and coding standards.
8. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality codebase.
9. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in production environments.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
11. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and product quality.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core.
3. Strong proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend systems.
4. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
5. Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience with data transformation and loading processes.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
7. Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
10. Strong understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with other backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
2. Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
3. Familiarity with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
4. Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Job Description :

1.  Hands on experience in developing web Applications using http://asp.net/">ASP.NET core MVC and Azure SQL server.
2. Hands on experience in Web API development.
3. Should have experience in working with Azure containers to deploy applications.
4. Should be able to individually co-ordinate with client team and do delivery.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good oral and written communication skills.  
7. Ability to work independently / in a team with strong problem-solving skills.
8. Estimate work and plan delivery schedule including tasks, milestones and dependencies.
9. Ensure timely publishing of status report and quality metrics.
10. Should be able to quickly adapt work on new technologies based on project need.

• Solid understanding of SDLC concepts
• Solid experience in MS Excel (2003, 2007, 2010, 2013,2016)
• Must be good at all excel features and excel formulas
• Well versed with complete MS Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT)

• Experience in requirements gathering, effort estimate, designing and implementation, and creating mock-up screens
• Experience in databases like MS SQL Server(2005 to 2012,2014), MySQL, and MS Access
