Core Competency:
Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Previous experience in FMCG Will be preferred
Continuous management of financial systems and budgets;
Undertaking financial audits (an independent check of an organization’s financial
position);
Providing financial advice/Taxation.
Reviewing the company's systems and analyzing risk;
Performing tests to check financial information and systems;
Tax planning/Tax filing (within current legislation to enable them to minimize their
tax liability) and tax issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and
mergers;
Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information
for small businesses (accountancy);
Detecting and preventing fraud (forensic accounting);
Liaising with internal and external auditors and dealing with any financial
irregularities as they arise;
Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector
audits;
Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts;
Arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and
forecasting;
advising treasury issues;
Negotiating terms with suppliers
Qualifications
Proficiency in financial planning, financial statements, and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills to analyse financial data and provide insights
Experience in managing financial operations and working with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the consumer goods industry and familiarity with regulatory
requirements
