Fraud Investigator responsible for Detecting and investigating financial fraud on behalf of PwC’s clients

Position– Fraud Detection Analyst

Job Summary:

· Analyze financial transactions and account activity to identify unusual activity to identify unusual or suspicious patterns.

· Conducting in-depth investigations into potential fraud cases, which may involve gathering evidence.

· Performing 360 Reviews on the Alert which has been triggered due to violation of threshold set for the systems for Fraud types (i.e.- ATO, PTO, TOA, ID Theft, ATO Scam, First Party Frauds etc.)

· Conduct 360 fraud reviews for the customer’s profiles and responsible for detecting and mitigating core banking, payments, fraud, and account opening red flags. Implemented solutions to fraud problems across ATO’s, P2P Payments, ACH kiting, check kiting, and wire fraud

· Multiple investigations into whistle blower complaints concerning account hijacking, transactional frauds, funds transfer return, checks (RDC, Thea) or ACH transactions that provided real time decisions on credit card, loan, and Zelle fraud red flags

· Combined retroactive analysis with current state fraud control assessments to implement technology and process framework that provided real time decisions on fraud strategy and overall fraud assessment

· Liaison with internal and external counterparts to perform end-to-end alert reviews (360 review) from fraud alert generation through to SAR filing.

· Analyze data trends and out of pattern activities to assimilate the next course of action (Case closure, Reimbursements, or escalation)

· Adjudicate the fraud type and apply relevant mitigation steps basis policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in Fraud detection and investigations

· Transaction Monitoring experience is preferred

· Familiarity with the firm's internal systems and processes or similar processes at other institutions

 Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher higher risk attributes (transactional, geographical, product, customer type, etc.) and develop well-reasoned recommendations

· Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

· Maintaining detailed records of fraud cases and investigation outcomes.

· Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to fraud detection and prevention.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.

Position: Data Engineering Lead - Campus Hiring Digital Recruitment SaaS Platform

Minimum Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.

Experience:  7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy and Vision:

• Develop and communicate a clear data strategy and vision for the Campus Hiring Digital Recruitment SaaS Platform.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and data needs.
• Define and prioritize the data roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer requirements.

Data Infrastructure Development:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the data infrastructure.
• Implement best practices in data management, including data governance, data quality, and data security.

Data Pipeline Management:

• Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed and available for analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to build and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning models.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure data is easily accessible and usable by stakeholders across the organization.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to ensure alignment and delivery of data goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in designing and building scalable data infrastructures and pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Google Analytics
• Expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud data platforms like AWS, Oracle Cloud.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.

Job Description: We currently have an opportunity available for Jr. iOS App developers to work full time at our eCommerce product.

Preferably who have worked on an eCommerce platform and developed a minimum of 2 applications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Logging all relevant incident/service request details, allocating categorization and prioritization codes.

• Providing first-line investigation and diagnosis using approved tools, systems and procedures.

• Resolving/fulfilling incidents/service requests that are in scope.

• Technical Escalations - escalating incidents/service requests that cannot be resolved/fulfilled within agreed timescales or are out of Service Desk/1st Line scope, to the next level technical team which may include 3rd Parties or other non-Assurance functions.

• Managerial Escalations – escalating incidents/service requests that are at risk of failing or have failed agreed SLAs/OLAs, or that are out of scope, which may include 3rd Parties or internal roles (e.g. Service Manager, Account Manager).

• Keeping customers informed of progress.

• Owning incidents/requests from ticket creation to resolution/fulfilment/closure.

• Closing all resolved/fulfilled incidents/requests and other queries. • Communication with customers – keeping them informed of incident/request progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages, etc.

• Ensure the Configuration Management System (CMS) is maintained/updated.

• Maintain an exceptional level of customer service during any engagements with Customers/3rd Parties/Internal Teams.

• Ensure communication at all times is clear, concise, meaningful, professional and efficient.

• Provide feedback to appropriate Line Manager on how the Service Desk (Tier 1 and Escalation Management) and supporting functions can improve.

• Identify need for Problem Management for reoccurring Incidents/Events.

• Understanding of and familiarity with Customers’ services and solutions.

• Compliance with Service Operations processes (Event Management, Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, Change Management, and Problem Management) and associated metrics (SLAs/OLAs/KPIs/other metrics).

• Actively participate as required in meetings (customer, 3rd party, internal).

• Conducting customer satisfaction call backs/surveys as agreed. • Coach/guide Junior staff and new starters.

• Act as delegate for Senior staff.

• Act as technical escalation gate for Junior staff. • Higher First Line Fix/Right First Time than Junior staff.

• 12+ x months experience in Customer Service/Contact Centre/Help Desk/Service Desk role (must).

• 12+ x months in a process driven organization (must).

• Experience working in a multi-cultural/international environment (desirable).
