As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and systems that support Versatile Commerce digital presence. You will work with technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, MVC, Sitefinity CMS, and Azure to deliver high-performance and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and MVC.

• Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server.

• Work with Sitefinity CMS to manage and develop content-driven websites.

• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability by following best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry’s best practices. 

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in .NET development, including ASP.NET, C#, and MVC.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design and optimization.

• Experience with Sitefinity CMS or other content management systems. • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services for hosting and deployment.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security.

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or Sitefinity are a plus

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Node.js expertise who is comfortable working in an AI-assisted development environment. The ideal candidate should be proficient in leveraging modern AI developer tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and help modernize legacy systems.

This role involves working on backend systems, microservices architecture, and AI-powered development workflows, including refactoring legacy applications into modern Node.js services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Leverage AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Amazon Q to improve development efficiency.
• Refactor and modernize legacy .NET applications into Node.js-based microservices using AI-assisted workflows.
• Design and optimize database schemas and complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for high-performance data storage and caching.
• Build and integrate AI-based features and services into backend applications.
• Automate development workflows through custom CLI tools or IDE extensions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Node.js backend development
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q, or similar)
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design
• Experience with AI engineering (building or integrating AI-powered features)

About the Role 

We're seeking a Junior .NET Developer with 2 years of experience to join our insurtech team. This role offers an opportunity to work with cloud technologies and contribute to our existing codebase and cloud migration initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Write clean, maintainable code using C# and .NET Framework (.NET Core, ASP.NET, web API) 
• Develop new features and participate in microservices architecture development 
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality 
• Work with MS SQL Server - write Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions 
• Support Azure cloud integration and automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps 
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and senior architects on migration initiatives 
• Estimate work, break down deliverables, and deliver to deadlines

Requirements

-Having experience with Svelte and Azure Cosmos DB is a plus.

-Using .NET Core/MVC, MSSQL, Angular 8+, and Web API.

-Designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reusable C# code using design patterns.

-Building and consuming J SON-based ASP.NET Web API services.

-Executing patches and proactive remediation for Legacy Applications, including designing, developing, and testing web applications with .NET, HTML, CSS, and other technologies.

-May lead the work of others and provide ideas to enhance software applications.

-Applying software design and development principles such as SOLID, Domain-Driven Design, and Object-Oriented Development.

-Familiarity with ORM frameworks, particularly the Entity Framework.

Around 4 years of experience in creating and implementing Web-based applications using

C#, ASP.net, Web API, MVC, Micro Services, JavaScript and SQL Server.

Familiarity or exposure to CI / CD, Dev Ops such as Dockers, containers, Azure, Pipeline is

highly recommended

Ability to work in an Agile, fast-paced environment, and learn rapidly.

Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar.

Familiar with object-oriented development, design patterns and specifically in .NET

Framework (C#) with a strong background in web-based development and service-oriented

Architecture.

Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON.

Writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.

Must have knowledge of project/task management tools like Jira,

Familiarity with Version Control like Bitbucket, Git etc.

Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility and web standards.

Build features and applications with responsive design

Good English communication skills, written and spoken.

Able to work with minimum supervision as well as perform under pressure and meet

Deadlines.
